Instant Shader Series, UPF 50+

Camping Series, Warm

Dark Shelter Technology: Coated with Dark Shelter coating, this Instant Shader not only effectively blocks 97.5% of UVA and UVB rays (UPF 50+) but also eliminates 90% of direct sunlight for maximum sun protection. It creates an oasis on the beach for your whole family.
Family Size: Take shade and comfort wherever you go. With a super-spacious interior of 99″ W x 53″ D x 57″ H and 53” front porch, even 4 adults can sit and lay down comfortably inside the tent. Enjoy as long as you like, and when it’s time to go, the Instant Shader Silver Shelter packs down to 41″ x 8.5″ x 8.5″. Toss it over your shoulder and easily load it into the trunk of your car without discomfort.
Patent-Pending Opening Machanism: End the frustration of putting up and taking down large beach tents. The Instant Shader’s patent-pending opening mechanism allows to set up and disassemble with smooth movements. Create your family’s beach oasis in less time, with less strain. Winning!
Great Airflow: Some outdoor tents can get stuffy and humid on hot days. Not the Silver Shelter. Large mesh windows and double guyout points let you enjoy great ventilation and breezes, while staying shaded from the sun.
Versatile & Convenient: It’s inevitable: long days at the beach will have surprise pop-ups. The Instant Shader’s versatile design can handle them all. Zip up the front to change into dry clothes in privacy. Protect your tent from high winds with guylines. Store valuables in the overhead mesh pocket.

Really useful thing
This tent is perfect for the beach, park, or backyard. Setup is super quick and easy — it practically pops open on its own and folds back down into the carry bag without hassle. The material feels durable, provides excellent shade, and the ventilation windows make it comfortable even on hot days. It’s lightweight, portable, and comes with stakes to keep it stable in the wind. The spacious interior easily fits a couple of adults or a small family with kidsOverall, it’s a convenient, sturdy, and reliable tent for anyone who loves outdoor time

Lightweight. Sturdy. Cool. Easy to set up. Big enough for 2 upright chairs. Great value!
We’ve owned this for a week and taken it out to the beach every day, and I’m ready to declare this a great, recommended purchase.POSITIVES:1) It’s really lightweight. My wife wanted to carry this and let me carry the chairs!2) It’s very easy to set up and break down. One person can set it up easily in a couple of minutes.3) This XL size is quite big. It easily accommodates not just 2 adult beach chairs, but 2 fully upright folding chairs, plus probably a small child or two. You could stretch out and take a nap in it if you like (see photos).4) It’s shockingly stable and sturdy. We didn’t have horrible winds this week (just 10-20mph max), but we never even felt the need to fill the sand pockets. The 6 basic stakes in the sand provided plenty of stability. In higher winds you can of course fill the 3 built in pockets with sand, and use the additional stakes and guy-lines to secure it, but I was pleasantly surprised that we didn’t feel a need for either.5) This design gives you a tucked-away “cabana”-like feel, like you’re viewing the ocean but shielded fromthe throngs of crowds to your left and right.6) Many nice design touches including 5 handy storage pockets, a hook for hanging things, easy-to-use roll-up screens, and the big “apron” that you can also zip up for total privacy.7) Light, reflective colors and lots of ventilation means this isn’t as hot as the other big brand.8) It’s a great value. In 2024, you can often find it in the $60-70 range.NEGATIVES:1) Stuffing it back into it’s carry sack is a two person operation. If the sack had a wider opening, it would be much easier.2) Despite being lightweight it remains fairly big when folded down in it’s carry sack — bigger than the types of tents where you pull the support poles completely apart.3) I don’t see how you can ever fold this thing up without trapping at least a little sand.BOTTOM LINE: This isn’t going to provide as much shade coverage as one of the big 10-plus foot beach canopies. If you spend a lot of time at the beach, or have a big family, then spending a couple hundred bucks on one of those might better suit your needs. But if your crowd is small, and you want something much less expensive and easier to carry and set up, and you like the idea of a little privacy along with your shade, then this pop-up design won’t disappoint, and this is the brand to get.

Nice tent
This is a nice tent, and a nice size. I can comfortably fit 3-4 people (2 adults and 2 kids) in this tent. Very easy to set up and take down.

THE BEST! IM GONNA TELL YOU EVERYTHING U NEED TO KNOW!!
Pros… (1) this thing is huge both me and my 6’8 husband could get into it easily and stretch out comfortably. (2) It keeps ALLLL the sun out. The black interior really really makes a difference. (3) This thing withstood some REALLY REALLY high winds on our 1st day at the beach. We tried to do it without the strings but read the directions and discovered that we need to use the lines in high wind conditions. (3b) The sand bags around it REALLY REALLY help. It seems they really put a lot of thought into the design of this unit. (4) I was able to stand up and I’m almost 5’9… now I had a little head/ neck bend but for the most part, i could stand up at the middle point of it. (5) speaking of standing up, I was able to zip it up, close all the windows and not only keep out the cooler air as it got later in the day & keep out the sun when unwanted, I was able to change clothes standing up. (6) It looks very aesthetically pleasing. We walked away from it down to the water and looked back up. It really looked very very nice compared to other tents and shelters out on the beach. (7) And maybe the most important pro, IT IS SUPER EASY TO PUT UP!!!! LIKE, SERIOUSLY! JUST AS EASY AS SHOWN IN THE VIDEO!!! NO JOKE!! I will record a video of us putting it up later. EXTREMELY EASY!CONS: It was INITIALLY really difficult to pack back up. Letting it down was easy but all the legs wouldn’t fold in as shown in the video. But my husband just strong-armed the 1 onery leg (I was against it…I thought he would break it)…. but that actually worked!!! After that, it was a breeze to put away (pun intended). (2) The window coverings flew up a tad impacting the privacy when I was changing clothes inside.ALL IN ALL… the pros FAR outweigh the cons. This is an EXCELLENT UNIT… ON sunny and breezy days at the beach.

Big size, high quality, easy use
Someone who appreciates quality –
Good size and quality, setup is not that easy but probably ok once you get used to it. Packing it up at the sandy beach is a struggle but that probably goes for all tents.

A great sunshade for a day out by the beach or other outdoor locales. Quick and easy set up by one person. When positioned with the sun at the back of the shelter, it provides ample shade. the floor is made of tougher material which should stand up to loads of use, including the placing of camp chairs, etc. The portion of the floor that extends past the shelter can also be zipped up to provide privacy when changing. The only drawback is that the window shades are on the inside of the mesh, which means that rain will seep through and drip into the tent even with the shades down.
