Comfortable and Very Functional
I’ve tried many many many baby carriers as an Amazon Vine product reviewer. This Cub & Co is probably one of my favorites so far. It definitely lives up to its name as a newborn-toddler carrier. It handles quite a bit of toddler weight, which is nice to know when buying it. It will last a while. Its comfortable to wear and is easy to use with its adjustable straps – providing good support. I really love it and wish I had had it in my little’s early days.

Simple yet helpful. Form and function.
$55 is comparable for a baby carrier, you could easily spend more! This style of adjustable carrier does tend to get a lot of use for a long time so it’s worth the price.You want a carrier that can be used on the front when they’re little and on the back as they get older (weight limit is 7-44 lbs). Sometimes a fussy 2 year old just wants to be close to mom and if you toss them on your back you can hold them longer. The quick release buckles are important because sometimes baby wants out of there and you want to be able to get them out quickly.The criss-cross straps across the back are better for support but can get a little frustrating & tangly. It’s a preference choice here. The colors & pattern are nice, nothing too crazy. Fabric does seem breathable which is important because it’s easy for everyone to get hot while wearing a baby carrier. Glad to see it’s 100% cotton.

This carrier feels secure, supportive, and comfortable to wear. The padded waistband and lumbar support make a big difference, and it adjusts easily as baby grows. The fabric looks stylish too.

Stylish and Well-Made, But Not the Most Comfortable Fit
I chose the Houndstooth design for a different look and I really like it. The fabric feels almost like linen – not the softest, but not rough either. It’s sturdy, with excellent workmanship. I appreciate that it can be worn inward-facing, world-facing and on the back – very versatile. However, I wasn’t sure how safe or practical it would be for hip carrying – lack of support.The straps need to be crisscrossed, which makes it a little trickier to put on compared to t-shirt-style carriers, which are easier. Sizing also seems best for smaller frames. Even in the product images, the model (who looks about average size) doesn’t have padding covering her back/underarm area. On me, the lack of padding along the sides made it uncomfortable. Also, the buckle was very hard to unbuckle and click back in, which makes functionality challenging when handling a baby.Overall, while it’s a stylish, well-made carrier at an affordable price, I personally prefer designs with more padding for comfort. For that reason, this one didn’t quite work out for me.

This 4 in 1 baby carrier is well made. The material is soft, there is a lot of padding, but it is not bulky or heavy. It is adjustable around your tummy and the shoulder straps. I really like the way it fits for carrying a baby in the front inward, it feels secure but helps keep the pressure off your arms and uses your back and shoulders for support. It can be used as a back carrier, a side hip carrier, or front outward. It is very functional making it a good price, it’s a great gift for a new parent.
