Total game changer for sleep and privacy
This blackout curtain deserves all five stars. I bought the **118″ x 57″ portable blackout curtain and it has completely transformed my bedroom! First off, they truly block 100% of the light. My toddler always struggled to sleep during the day but with this curtain, his room is pitch black, even in direct sunlight. It’s like flipping a switch from day to night instantly. The size is perfect for large windows or sliding glass doors, and the material feels durable yet lightweight. The silver backing really helps reflect heat, so the room stays cooler too bonus! Installation was quick and easy.

Simple, convenient and total blackout
These blackout curtains are great. They are super light and thin material but they totally blackout all light. One side is a silver gloss (use towards the outside window and the other is total black (use inside) I’m sure you could flip flop to your liking and it’d block out the sun just fine. I bought the large and smaller size and one packags came with Velcro circles to stick the curtain up while the other came with some 3M strips. I didn’t use the 3M strips but they looked like they’d be more of a pain to take off if needed so hopefully whoever buys this they get the circle Velcro stickies because those were advertised to be easy coming off. Other than that super convenient to cut to any size and no problems at all. Does it’s job perfect, only light I get is around the edges and it’s easily fixed if I secure it tighter to the window. The Velcro stick on makes it easy to take off and fold away if you want sunlight or to open a window and it’s easy to put back up. Highly recommend although I wish it was about 30% cheaper because it is very thin material that doesn’t seem like it should cost so much.

Effective and Good Value for Price
These are great— they keep all light out and have greatly improved my sleep. Very cheap for what they do.I do have to dock a star, the little adhesive velcro stickers that come with the curtains are not the best. There were multiple mornings where I woke up to sunlight streaming in because a window covering had entirely slipped off. It took a few attempts to reinforce with adhesive tape and I haven’t had an issue since.

Don’t be deceived by low ratings
I was skeptical purchasing this after reading the negative reviews. I ended up jumping in head first anyways and took the risk. Without risk there is no reward. I am more satisfied with this product than any other type of blackout curtain or window covering. Many reviews state that the double sided sticky discs don’t work; however mine have been up for a week and I haven’t had an issue. The window I used the product on is a southern facing window that gets sunlight just about all day. My room feels like it’s the middle of the night 24/7. Be sure to sleep the window with alcohol (what I used) and you shouldn’t have an issue with the adhesives. Also, but the product about an inch bigger; a 12×12 window would be cut to 13×13. Then use an xacto knife for precision cutting to cut off the excess. Following these simple steps you will be able to sleep during the day. I work graveyard and was only getting about 5 hours of restless sleep due to the sun, I can now sleep a solid 8 easily. I’m not sure if it’s in the product description or not but I noticed it was noticeably cooler as well. I’d assume that was the intention of the production design because the side that faces out is a shiny gray. I’d highly recommend this product for anyone that works nights and has trouble sleeping. I have found nothing better and will no longer be looking. The material is also lightweight but not paper thin it’s a material I can only describe as what a tent is made of, some kind of like vinyl or something. 0 light will come through if installed correctlyEDIT: I have no issues after a month. My room remains the coolest darkest room in the house. We just had a heatwave and I didn’t even notice in my room. Also came in handy while I slept a weird schedule due to covid. I still highly recommend.EDIT 2: Its been several months and I’ve had zero issues still. It’s held strong, not deteriorated, and in the same place I originally placed it with no need to fix it. Still highly recommend and am afraid if I take it off I will regret it and have to buy new adhesives that probably aren’t going to be as good haha. 10/10 product. I will not be updating this again as any further and you’ve already gotten the money’s worth back in sleep (if you work nights), energy savings (if southern facing window in hot climate), and all products deteriorate with sun exposure amd heat (not that this one has yet). I MAY leave a review when its finally deteriorated as I’m not taking down and will be test the longevity of the product.

The sticky Velcro is very hard to remove from the window. It was easy to install and blocks a good amount of the light out.

Super dark on demand
This blackout blind actually helps you darken your room and seems very durable.It completely covers the glass of the window where the light comes in. It has a silver backing that I’m sure helps reflect the heat. It’s came in a really nice black drawstring bag with Velcro stickers. It’s a very large thick piece so you have to cut it to size to the glass of your window, which is very easy to cut then you can stick it on using the Velcro stickers which stick very well. There’s still plenty of material and Velcro left over to be used on other windows!

Blocks light and cools the room!
Using these in one room that gets way too hot from morning sun. So far, these reflective/blackout curtains are keeping it cooler. A second window in another room is “blacked out” to enhance our afternoon movie watching experience. They are doing what they need to do! Cut to size and they’re super easy to install with the velcro sticky pads.

Good for using projector during the day
These blackout curtains are perfect! They block out every bit of sunlight, turning my living room into a true home theater. I can’t wait to use them every Sunday for football season with my projector—no more glare, just a crystal-clear picture no matter what time of day. This is absolutely brilliant. It was so hot this summer I could barely take it and so I finally found these. They have been the best thing. They are only 100% block out the light but they keep the heat out to tested in I’m sure they also be well used as I can’t imagine life without them I’m gonna slowly build up my collection so every single window has them
