    Worth every penny
I got this for my son when he was 6 months old and he’s now 18 months. I use it every single day for short walks with my dogs (2.5 miles) and occasional day hikes about once a month (10-15 miles), so it’s gotten a lot of use from me. It has lots of ways it can be adjusted (how high the kid can sit, shoulder strap position, foot stirrup height, etc). The straps do loosen slightly with repetitive use so you have to check them and retighten every 3 or 4 trips. I’ve used the sun shade a few times but there’s no easy way to stow it away, so I try not to bring it unless we’re going to be in direct sun the whole time. There is a pouch meant for a phone but I don’t use it much because if your waist strap is synched down tight, it’s hard to get anything in or out of it.My kid has always been really small for his age but he could still safely ride in this at 6 months old. The shoulder straps don’t tighten down super tight, but the waist strap does, so it keeps him secure. My kid likes to lean hard to one side to see around my head, and I’ve never felt like he was going to fall out or anything. He seems comfortable in it and will almost never complain or want out. If he does cry, it’s because I stopped too long and he wants me to keep moving. The pack frame will squeak the whole time, which is annoying, but I’ve never known a plastic frame pack that doesn’t, so that’s probably unavoidable. It is perfectly comfortable for my short walks, even with sleeveless shirts. On longer hikes the waist strap will start to rub, but it takes several hours of walking to bother me. Usually my shoes will bother me before this pack does. I’m a smaller person, at 110lbs and the waist strap does fit me, but it’s tightened almost completely down. So if you’re smaller than me, it might not fit your waist snugly. The storage compartment is surprisingly spacious. Even with heavy usage, the pack hasn’t had any tearing or breaking. The kick stand is useful but don’t trust it fully because if your kid leans hard to one side, it will tip over, even on level ground. It’s easy to get the pack off and on by myself but preferred if I can lift it onto a table or tailgate first.Overall this pack has been incredibly useful and essential to our family. I’ve even used it inside the house when I’m cooking because my baby wanted to be picked up but I needed him to be behind me and kept away from the hot stovetop.

    BUY IT! YOU NEED IT!
5.0 out of 5 starsBest Baby Hiking Carrier We’ve Ever Owned: Sun Shade, Rain Cover, and My Back Finally Stopped Complaining! After two disappointing carriers that left me hobbling after a 30-minute walk (one cheap Amazon brand and one ridiculously overpriced “premium” one), I was skeptical to try another. The besrey Backpack Carrier looked cute in the photos, had great reviews, and was actually affordable, so I took the chance. Friends… this thing is a total game-changer.We’ve now done four hikes (including a 5-mile trail with 800 ft elevation gain) and my 22-month-old, 28-lb toddler thinks it’s the best seat in the house. Here’s why we’re obsessed:- The 3-height adjustable seat is genius. She can sit low and nap with her head on my shoulder or high when she wants to see everything. Takes 10 seconds to change.- The sun shade and rain cover are legit lifesavers. We got caught in a surprise downpour last weekend: I popped the rain blocker out of its little pocket, zipped it on in under a minute, and she stayed completely dry while laughing at the rain. The sun shade is huge and actually stays put even when it’s windy.- Those little foot stirrups on the sides? Cutest design ever. Her feet dangle happily instead of kicking my hips, and she loves resting her shoes in the loops like a big kid.- Comfort is unreal. I have chronic lower-back issues and this is the first carrier that doesn’t kill me. The padded hip belt and shoulder straps distribute weight perfectly; I can wear it for hours without pain.- Storage galore: big back pocket for diapers/wipes, two insulated bottle holders (keeps water cold for hours), hip-belt pockets for my phone and keys, and a little snack pouch right at toddler eye level, so she can grab her own puffs. Pure magic.- It folds down into an adorable tiny carry bag (about the size of a large purse) that I toss in the trunk. No more wrestling a giant frame into the car.My husband is 6’3″ and I’m 5’4″; we both tried it and it adjusts perfectly for either of us in seconds. Assembly out of the box took maybe 8 minutes and the instructions were actually clear. If you love hiking, zoo trips, festivals, or just walking around the neighborhood without pushing a stroller up every curb, you need this carrier. It’s cute, insanely functional, and has made adventures with our toddler fun again instead of a backache nightmare. Already recommending it to every parent friend I have.Worth every single penny and then some. We’re officially a besrey family now! 🥾❤️

Its a great carrier for hiking
It really exceeded my expectations, i carried my 3.5 years for a hike. She felt so comfortable, took multiple naps. It is sturdy and doesn’t feel wiggly while moving. Straps are great and kept my kid safe. It’s also big as I carried my 6 years old but this is not recommended because it is just enough for her size. Easy to put on, take off, and adjust. Weight distribution is perfect that didn’t hurt my back.

    Great comfy secure hiking carrier
Husband said this was such a great purchase. It’s lightweight, easy to put together, and the baby seemed comfy and secure. One complaint: husband squished his finger because apparently when you take it apart, it swings close and it closes so quickly that my husband didn’t move his finger out of the way in time. His finger got squished.Otherwise an amazing hiking carrier, and highly recommend.

Very comfortable to carry baby in, and baby likes it tool. I like that it has a large storage pocket and the shade canopy. A must for when hiking in the mountains.

    Good and convenient!
We bought this because we were touring the USS Lexington with a 2 year old and didn’t want to have to worry about her falling anywhere. We were able to carefully fit through all the stair doorways which were already tight to begin with (they were basically one person size fit)! She was comfortable and secured the whole time! We loved it and we were able to tour the ship without stressing about her! Very easy to use and set up!

My baby falls asleep in this everytime! Super easy to assemble and dissemble to store back in the travel bag. Love how comfortable it is to wear. Love how there’s a stand so you can sit it on the ground to buckle in and out. Love the handle at the top so people can help me up and down. Love the little pillow baby can rest their head on. Straps are super secure, baby won’t fall out. Great product, well made.

This is exactly what we wanted. All in one and my child was super happy and comfortable in it. Easy to carry and pack. Surprisingly it takes very little space in the car too. Our back was supported and well balanced. The child was able to move freely and it was great with different heights.

Our baby loves this back carrier. My husband finds it more comfortable than I do. I’m quite short so it sits a little low on my hips, even with adjusting. I can wear it for shorter periods of time.

Similar to previous reviewers, mine arrived as a clearly repackaged, previously returned, item and the top part of the frame would not connect into the bottom half, due to some slight warping. (I had to bend the frame with plyers before it fit.)It also came “pre-frayed”, or at best it frayed after 1 use (see video). Some recurring QA issues that need to be resolved. Otherwise it seems good for the price and very comfortable for me and the bub.
