Made in the Shade
Follow The instructions and it is pretty easy to get it set up and sturdy. You will have a lot more shade than most people. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to an umbrella again. It can be a little tricky and unstable at first, but you’ll find that you add more sand to the sandbags and pull them farther from the main tent after the first try or two of setting it up. It’s also very small and lightweight compared to an umbrella. It doesn’t require wind to keep it up like some of the other Beach shade options. No complaints.

Excellent quality for a good price. Comparable to the expensive brands. The multiple footings keep it in place during windy days. Very large area of coverage too and the side sunblock is an added bonus. When finished it folds up small for easy and lightweight carrying. Took less than 10 mins to set up.

Shade and Comfort All Day
This canopy is a total game changer for our beach trips! Setup was surprisingly quick, and it stayed secure even when the wind picked up. The coverage is huge easily fits our family with room for chairs, a cooler, and toys. It’s lightweight to carry, packs down nicely, and the material blocks the sun really well. Perfect for long days at the beach. Highly recommend it!

The best beach tent I’ve had in 32 years of needing a beach tent!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Gave 4 stars, cause it really was a great shade, light to carry, easy to put up, sand bags really hold enough sand to keep it weighted down. I took 1 star away, because 1) It isn’t water proof! It came a short shower & it started dripping on us. I feel if it was a little thicker, it wouldn’t do that as easily. 2) The size of the side shade…please note the side shade clip on is not as large as it shows in the pic! It maybe 12 in. & with the stretch that I needed it made it even shorter! Mine may have been cut too small, but that’s something I don’t know because this is my only one! It’s ease of set up is amazing! I’m 59 & disabled, & I could do it alone! Filling the sand bags was the hardest part. It’s lighter & easier than an umbrella or the other type of tent shade. The black bag they send is really great quality. It came a freak storm on us, we were soaked, sand was blowing up in our faces & hair, we couldn’t get everything put up fast enough & we had to hose everything off, I ended up having to wash the tent, & it came out perfect! Be sure to tighten the bungee cord things super tight around the ball at the end of the poles, if you don’t, you will have to keep redoing it, because the wind will work them free! Make sure you put enough sand in the bags, fill to the top! Your younger kids will love to help with that! Another thing I loved, the sand bag part is wide & blue like the top, so it stretches out as far as you need & best part…no thin cords for you or others to trip over in the bright sun! I really think I will be keeping this tent for years to come! I will probably add another one, because we had 7 this trip, we stay on the beach from 8 to 5/6 on most days, so by 1, everyone is fighting to get in the shade! I have 2 large boys, (think linebackers) so we were very close in order for all of us to be in the shade, but we all fit! I got the darker blue color & I think we stretched it as far as you can stretch one & I feel that we still got some sun under it. But, like I said, we had this baby stretched out good! It might be something to think about if you want the lighter blue, I feel it might let more sun through. This would be a great choice if you have toddlers or babies you want to put under, cause you can let one side down to help knock some of the wind off of them on really windy days. Do not hesitate to get this one! I have looked at some of the larger ones, but they require extra poles and no bungee cords to go around them, & the poles look like they would eat up some of your room!

I 100% recommend this! I set this thing up and filled the sandbags with the sand on the beach, and everyone started coming up to us asking where we got it!I spent nearly all day on the beach underneath this thing having some adult beverages and did not get sunburned for a change, I used to sit under an umbrella and still get sunburned, but not this thing! Love it! Great job!

Doesn’t work even in light to medium breezes.
Don’t understand the other good reviews. Tried to setup on the beach with what I’d consider light to medium wind and it failed miserably. Main pole is way too flexible and bent over until it collapsed (didn’t break). Plenty of other people had tents, umbrellas, and similar shade all over the beach without any struggles.

We bought this canopy for our family beach trip with our daughter, son-in-law, and our busy little granddaughter, and it absolutely delivered!Day one was a comedy of errors—picture all of us untangling poles while the ocean breeze laughed at us. But by day two we had it mastered and were setting it up like seasoned beach pros. Once it was anchored, it never budged, even with some lively coastal winds.The shade coverage was fantastic. Our granddaughter could play in the sand without turning into a lobster, and we adults could actually relax without roasting. Light enough to carry, sturdy enough to trust, and roomy enough for the whole crew plus a cooler of snacks.This canopy turned our beach week into a five-star vacation. Great value!
Used this at the beach for a week. Great shade especially because of the extra lick on shade. Helped with slanted morning and afternoon rays. A little low for tall people but gives more shade that way. Fabric doesn’t rebound well where ball end of poles are placed. But time will tell if that rebounds eventually. I was using it everyday so not a lot of chance for rebound time.Very easy to set up on sand. With strong wind we had to adjust placement of bags and angle of poles. Probably could have buried the bags for more help with wind as lighter bags could drag on the sand with strong wind.Didn’t notice any major sagging when tent got slightly wet from a light rain. This saved me a ton of money since the umbrella rental for the four of us would have been $90 a day!
