Perfect Beach Umbrella Tent — Easy Setup & Stays Put
We used this umbrella tent at the beach and were really impressed! It was super easy to set up—took us maybe five minutes to get it out of the package, fill the sand pockets in each corner, and make sure everything was secure. We didn’t have any issues with the wind trying to knock it over, which was a huge plus.One tip: I’d recommend getting one of those plastic sand anchors with the screw-style bottom to give the center pole an even more stable base. It makes installation easier and sturdier than trying to push the pole directly into the sand.Overall, great product and perfect for beach days!

High quality beach tent
Easy to assemble and store. Perfect size to provide right amount of shade at the beach. The quality of the material seems like it will last for a long time! Have not used on a really windy day but doesn’t move with normal wind.

Durable and easy to set up
This thing holds up to wind and is big enough for multiple people to enjoy. If it’s too windy, as it usually is on the Texas coast, that side panel has to come off though to maintain the stability. Still the best family sun share I’ve ever taken on vacation and the only one I didn’t end up chasing down the beach

My wife and I bought this for our annual beach vacation because the cost to rent an umbrella every day was way too high. It paid for itself the first week we used it.Unlike other umbrellas/cabanas which require a lot of time to set up (and an engineering degree), this is amazingly simple and lightweight. Stick the pole in the sand (not necessary, but you can buy a cheap sand shark to screw the pole into the sand if you are afraid it will blow away). Open it like an umbrella. Scoop sand into the pockets on each side (shovels come in the pack). Open your beach book and chill!It does take up room in the car, but less than other cabanas we’ve seen, and it isn’t so heavy that you get a back ache carrying it to the beach. It is big enough to accommodate 4 people + chairs + cooler comfortably.I knocked off one star because it is a bit difficult to get it back onto the carry bag at the end of the day. We solved that problem by buying four Velcro strips to wrap around everything to make it thinner before we put it back in the bag. Works like a charm.Suggestion: Practice setting it up and taking it down at home a couple of times BEFORE you go to the beach — avoids everyone on the beach laughing at you as you struggle to put it away.

Broke after one use
Second day of our vacation, we tried putting it up and it was broke. Completely unable to put up the umbrella, because it couldn’t stay in the open position. Like, when you put up an umbrella, it clicks into place when fully open. This broke so nothing clicked and it wouldn’t stay open. See photo – something should be sticking out here to catch the umbrella and keep it open.Super upset to not have a cabana on our breach vacation. Will be returning when we get home.Worked great for one day.

Sturdy Sun Shade
I’ve had a few of these beach cabana type umbrellas and by far this is the best construction I’ve seen. The frame is not flimsy and the fabric is very well sewn together. It held up well on the beach but I think a vented top would be an improvement. Very pleased with it and it does include a side wall which I have not used yet.
