How to remove limescale?
A:
1.Fill the kettle 3/4 full of either water and one lemon, or with equal parts water and vinegar (household vinegar is fine)
2.Let is soak for one hour.
3.Boil the kettle (three times for lemon, once for vinegar)
4.Allow it to cool, then rinse thoroughly several times

Wow! Very decent little kettle
This was exactly what I was looking for. I use it at my work desk to boil water to make a quick ramen noodle lunch. The water boils quickly. The outside surface is cool to the touch. I have also used it to make a cup of tea. I like that it has different options of temperatures for different purposes. The display is very clear, and the button functions are very simple. It is quite compact and fits perfectly in my side pocket of my backpack. I leave the lid off while my noodles or tea is being prepared, and the residual liquid evaporates, and the inside is dry without wiping which is great so I can tuck the short cord inside for storage. Love it!

Great little travel kettle
We bought this for a recent trip to Spain because several of our hotels had no kettle or coffee maker in the room. It worked perfectly and it was great to be able to make instant coffee or tea before the hotel breakfast opened or to make it later in the day. It is also very compact for packing. We also bought this set of 4 nesting camping mugs and slipped the middle two sizes over either end of the kettle so that the mugs did not add to packing space at all! https://a.co/d/1Xx1W0c

2nd version of this item and both of the blow their tops even when properly sealed. This is a dangerous item. Handle with care if you must use it.

Does the job
It provides exactly one large mug full of boiled water. It boils quickly and keeps the water hot for use about 20 min, maybe a little longer. Haven’t quite tested that. It’s lightweight, easy to use and clean. Fantastic for traveling. One drawback, the interior stainless steel is already accumulating a light deposit after only a few uses…but that could be entirely due to the water source. I recommend using filtered water for best results. Caveat, I’ve only had this item for about a month. I’ve used it about a couple dozen times or so. So far, so good. If you like a smaller cup, you might be able to get two servings from one boil, just barely though. But it boils so quickly, you can easily boil servings one at a time.

Great desk or travel gadget
Really like this when I want to heat just enough water for a mug. Heads up: This would be great traveling by road staying in motels, but is not allowed on cruise ships.
