Outstanding, Versatile, Comfortable yet Supportive, High Quality Water Shoes
I purchased these for our trip down to Myrtle Beach and I am so glad that I did! Without being able to try them on or see what type of quality they were we crossed our fingers and hoped for the best and boy are we surprised! The fit is comparable to my regular shoe size, they did not rub any parts of my foot or toes, and are so comfortable that not only during vacation but also around the house have become literally one of my favorite go to non tennis type shoes. The material and rubber is really thick and durable the colors are a beautiful combination but are actually very vibrant even after multiple trips in and out of the ocean, high chlorinated pools, saltwater and regular, and still maintain the same beautiful color from when they arrived and don’t feel thin and don’t have seems that are showing any sort of where. These water shoes are so comfortable and can be worn for so many other things besides just water activities, and while they’re not too heavy of a shoe, they definitely provide the support that you need even for walking distances. I have recommended these already and have also purchased three additional pairs, 24 my sons and a pair for my mom who is in her 70s, and she also agrees that they are her new favorite go to. She does a lot of swimming at the YMCA and these are absolutely perfect for any water activity but again we’re so versatile and durable and most of all comfortable that they could be used for just about anything that you need to have your be covered for. We were even able to walk over gravel and the shoals obviously without feeling anything Sharp and it was an added bonus that the small little breather holes that are intelligently designed throughout especially on the bottom made it super easy for the water to Simply drain right out of them and immediately. Overall a phenomenal water shoe, well worth the price giving support and comfort that are high quality and versatile

We ordered these to take on vacation to Hawaii. They were amazing!! I don’t know what we would have done without them. They were light weight, comfortable, easy to clean. Fantastic! If you are planning on a similar vacation, Hawaii, European beaches, anywhere with volcanic rocks, GET THESE SHOES. They are a life saver! We hiked down slippery, muddy hills in them. AMAZING for sure.

BE CAREFUL WHEN WEARING on ROCKS!
Here are several comments I have on the ATHMILE Hiking Barefoot Water Shoes that I ordered in a size 10. (See end of review for more info on sizing). UPDATES IN MY REVIEW ARE PROVIDED IN CAPS.1) They slide on easy. At first, they feel very comfortable but as i was walking down my driveway, I noticed my feet hitting the hard pavement with every step. No cushioning to absorb the shock. Also, I noticed a few of my toes on the right foot feeling squished which i didn’t notice at first.2) Nice Style3) The bottom of the shoe seems like they will provide a decent grip for stepping upon a wet rock or a rock under water, but I have not yet tried them on slippery surfaces. I will update this review when I do. UPDATE: i WORE THEM YESTERDAY SINCE I WOULD BE WORKING IN AN AREA THAT WAS WET FROM THE PRIOR DAYS RAIN. CAREFULLY WALKING ONTO A LARGE ROCK, MY FOOT IMMEDIATELY BEGAN TO SLIP. I SAVED MYSELF FROM A FALL. I DO NOT BELIEVE THESE AQUA SHOES TO BE THAT SLIP RESISTANT.4) i would not use or recommend them for hiking as the name ‘Hiking Water Shoes” implies. I feel hiking shoes should provide cushioning of some sort, and support, and a tie or velcro strap that secures to the feet. UPDATE: HIKING SHOES SHOULD HAVE SLIP RESISTANT BOTTOMS. THESE DO NOT.5) The inner sole pad comes out when you take your foot out of the shoe. THIS SEEMS TO BE NORMAL FOR AQUA SHOES AS I TRIED ON A PAIR IN A STORE AND WHEN I REMOVED MY FOOT THE SOLE PAD CAME OUT TOO.I recommend using their size chart that you will find on the order page. Place your foot on a piece of paper, and trace around it, or simply make a mark in front of your longest toe and the heel of your foot. Use a tape measure to measure the inches. Then see the chart to find your size. My foot measured around 10.25″. … their chart told me to order a size 10.Even with the negatives, I will keep these for my needs of going kayaking. I just want my feet at least somewhat protected.UPDATE: BOTTOM LINE, BASED ON THE DESCRIPTION OF THESE SHOES AND THEIR ACTUAL PERFORMANCE, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE AQUA SHOES TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO ENSURE SLIP FREE AND SHOCK ABSORBING WALKING. THEY ARE DEFINITELY NOT SUITABLE FOR HIKING, BUT THEY SHOULD BE FINE FOR GOING IN LAKES TO KYAK, AND OTHER ACTIVITIES IN WHICH YOU GET YOUR FEET WET.I DID LIKE HOW THEY PERFORMED IN WATER. I USED THEM TODAY WASHING THE CARS. I ALSO WENT IN A STREAM WHERE THERE WAS A VERY MUDDY AREA. THE SHOES STAYED ON MY FEET WELL EVEN AS MY FEET SUNK INTO THE MUD.I HAD TRIED ON ANOTHER BRAND IN A STORE. NONE OF THE AQUA SHOES HAD THE RUBBER SOLE THAT GOES UP AROUND THE SIDES AND OVER THE TOES LIKE THESE DO. THEREFORE THESE AQUA SHOES SEEM TO OFFER A BIT MORE PROTECTION FOR YOUR TOES.I AM INCREASING MY STAR RATING TO 4 STARS.

Comfortable shoes
I love these shoes for summertime and spring. Even though they have holes on the bottom I can still wear them in the rain. Some people may need an arch support in them. I get a lot of compliments and questions about them.

Too big
These were nice shoes, but I had to return them. I usually wear a size 7w sneaker. I ordered a size 6.5 and they were too big where my foot was sliding around uncomfortably.
