Great hat
This hat is exactly what I was looking for. It’s not floppy, like so many seem to be. It’s a nice stiff brimmed straw hat, like a quality cowboy hat. It came to my door well packed in a box made for shipping hats. It’s attractive and well ventilated. I wear a 7 1/2, sometimes 7 5/8, and this XL size is a little large, but it comes with a sizing foam strip that works great. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Great Summer Hat
Form, fit and functions well. Brim is wide enough to keep sun off face, and chin strap conveniently tucks over brim in back, when not needed. Vent holes work well for cooling. However, I cannot give a perfect rating because the sweatband material is not well chosen; it’s too thick and designed for an elastic snuggle around the head. When heat index is high, this sweatband causes additional sweating. Thin leather or cotton would have made a cooler sweatband; that’s why they’re better suited to summer hats.

Best Hat!
Every time I wear this hat, I’m stopped by complete strangers complimenting me! It is by far my favorite hat for overall comfort, style, and wearability. I can wear this hat in 100° temps without overheating & the color works well w/ almost any outfit. It does look a bit different than the photos, but I love it ! Planning on ordering another hat from this brand b/c I’ve been so pleased w/ this purchase.

Run around while trying to get defective item exchanged and received in a timely manner.
Item was received with a defect, stitching coming out of hat band where it connect to straw hat. Hat band is starting to disconnect, all I did was to try on hat and start to see where I needed to place the sizer that is included. When removing hat I had this strange thread stuck to my head and upon inspecting there is several inches of a large thread sticking out and this fuzzy thread that is kind of stretchy that is unraveling from the point where band meats the hat. The band is already starting to come apart from the hat at this seam, and I have no doubt that it will quickly come apart completely upon actual use of the hat. Bought this for a trip to the Mediterranean in July, and will need to have the band in place so I can have a hat that fits properly in the unrelenting sun that I will encounter. I processed return/exchange through Amazon, but expected delivery date is the day I return from Mediterranean. Tried to go through Amazon customer service but that was an endless circle of nothing, because item is not shipped through them. Only way to contact supplier/vendor is to submit this review.

Quality Hat
The product is awesome. You can see it is a quality hat. I prefer to buy American products for one reason, the quality is better. When the seller spends time to package the hat for safe shipping, you know they are proud of the product. I will enjoy wearing this hat for years to come.
