Comfortable Summer Hat
This is the second hat I have ordered from American Hat Makers. After looking at different Summer hats for Florida weather, I decided to purchase the AHM Breeze mesh summer hat. I have to be very careful with sun exposure because of Basil Cell Carcinoma problems. I like the fact that this hat was made for warmer weather as well as it is an Outback style hat which is what I like. American Hat Makers is a great company to deal with and I highly recommend them. Excellent variety of styles for everyone.

AWESOME HAT AWESOME MANAGEMENT
I’m the hardest customer to deal with and not a very patient employer.This company puts out an amazing product. It’s pricey and I will explain why.I obsess over imperfections and symmetry above all else. I purchased from this company before and regardless of how much of a pain in the can I was, the management made sure I left happy.Due to this single experience I will not shop from anyone else again. Likewise with my biits, jeans, sunglasses, and shirts. I paid for something because I need it and this is one of the few companies that are going to stand behind what they put the name on. That much is guaranteed and I am happy to pay the little more for it and especially for the fact it’s american made.Pay more and feel safe knowing the owners or management is going to take care of the product you ordered.

Received the hat in 3 days after ordering. Days before expected arrive. It was very securely packaged. It’s an awesome hat, just as I thought it would be!! It came with multiple size-adjusting inserts so the fit is perfect! Added a custom hat band. Love this hat! I’ll be wearing it a lot!!

I received my “Breeze Leather and Mesh Outdoor Sun Hat” a couple of weeks ago. It arrived very well packaged and protected. When I tried it on initially, the hat fit was a bit loose. I quickly installed on of the sizing pads that came with the hat, and it fit perfectly. The mesh on the top of the hat makes it a perfect hat to wear on hot days. The leather brim is flexible, but sturdy enough to hold up in a breeze. The craftsmanship of this hat is outstanding! The stitching is very tight and evenly spaced, and all of the materials are high quality. If taken care of, this hat will last a very long time. This hat is well worth the money.

Stitching defect off by half an inch. Functional, breathable, lightweight, and it has a chin strap. Great for the heat and high winds of the Mojave Desert. The soft brim sits comfortably against a headrest when driving or against a backpack when rucking. It’s good enough. I won’t return it, but I wouldn’t feel too bad if the desert claims this crooked hat. Though it’s unlikely due to the chin strap.Conclusion: From this sample of one I was unlucky. It was a perfect size, but a crooked fit. However, I would recommend this hat for its functionality alone. Now please excuse me, as I walk back into the desert.
