Thule style compression bags for way less money. I ordered this thinking they were very similar to the Thule bags that I have and love. I’ve traveled all over the world with them and have never caught the zipper on the fabric trying to compress them (happens all the time with other bags). The Thule bags are rugged, compress extremely well, but they only come in two sizes. So hello Aerotrunk! They come in a lot more sizes for all the smaller things I may need to fit (like socks, underwear etc) and much larger bags for bigger things like jeans or sweaters.I did a side by side video comparison of the two and I can’t see much difference between the two brands in materials and pattern of the products, they both use the same materials, similar ykk zip with paracord pulls, same compression system, basically identical. Except the Aerotrunk comes in a lot more sizes and with a laundry bag and is cheaper per item compared to the Thule. So for my money I would go with the Aerotrunk as being the king of the packing compression cubes for myself now. And take it from a guy who has traveled around the world a lot, these are great bags.

Excellent Packing Cubes/Great Value
I bought the Thule packing cubes and really liked them a lot. But they are small (for my needs) and rather expensive when you consider that you may need several. The Aerotrunk packing cubes are the same design, same fabric, same quality, same functionality but the set includes a whole range of sizes, including the larger ones that I need. And I like the lighter silver color far better. It is a great value for the money. Easy choice. Return the Thule, keep the Aerotrunk.My suggestion for Aerotrunk is that they make the various sizes available individually as well as a set. I would like to buy another of their extra large compression cubes but don’t want to buy an entire set to get it.

This set packs incredibly well. I’m on an extended cruise and was able to pack everything I needed. Slacks, dress shirts, polos, shorts, t-shirts, casual pants. I used the narrow long bag for 8pairs underwear and socks. The included laundry bag holds a solid 5 days of clothes. The shape of the corners makes zipping easy. Feel free to overstuff these bags; they will take it. Semi transparent for viewing inside without unzipping. Good stitching, sturdy zippers and quality exterior materials makes these compression bags a real winner. I would buy them again.

These packing cubes are sturdy, and I like the variety of sizes and shapes included. They even come with a laundry bag, which I also used for shoes. The material is very lightweight, so it doesn’t add extra weight to your luggage. The zippers are smooth and feel good quality — I had no issues stuffing the cubes and zipping them closed. I also appreciate that the expansion zipper is a different color from the main zipper, which makes it easy to avoid opening the wrong one.They help save space and make packing more organized, so it’s easier to keep track of where everything is. One thing I wish they had is a mesh panel to quickly see the contents, especially for the cubes that are the same size. Otherwise, they’re great, and I’m happy to use them for my travels.

This is a set of nice quality compression packing cubes. Which works really well. I have already purchased multiple packing cubes from this company and I always trust them. It’s a well-made product and can compress a lot of clothings. It’s great for traveling and packaging. It works well for any kind of clothes. It keeps them compressed and to nicely packed.

The thing that makes these great is suprisingly how slippery the material is; the low friction lets your adjust them and squish them down into your bag/retrieve them easily. They compress a lot of clothes, they feel well made with great zippers and pulls. These will last me a long time and they are great for travel even for overnight and making all your stuff fit in one backpack.

At the time of this review, the six-pack is listed for $79.99. So these are at a premium, but I think it’s worth it if you’re looking for that’s something that’s ultralight.I use packing cubes on a daily basis, not only at home to help organize clothing items and athletic apparel, but also when travelling.Not all packing cubes are durable, and not all are as lightweight as these, especially not for something like backpacking, bike packing or travel using carry-on only.The build quality and construction is excellent. I have no complaints about how these are made and they justify their premium price.I also appreciate the variety of sizes that you get, at least in the six-pack.The included laundry bag is also a nice touch, but I will also note that it does not seem to be airtight or watertight. That means if you’re putting wet clothes in it, you will probably get other items outside the bag wet.These packing cubes use a double zipper design for compression. That means they have a zipper for opening the packing cube, as well as one that runs along the sides to give it compression. I like this style because it’s not only versatile, but reliable.One thing I’d like to point out on the listing, it says that these use semi-transparent fabric that lets you spot items fast. I don’t think that’s entirely accurate. The material is quite opaque and there’s no way you could tell what’s inside the packing cube without opening it.This is where a small mesh window or something similar would have been advantageous. However, there are pros and cons with that, too.Finally, and fortunately, I’d like to also note that there are grab handles on each packing cube, not only for ease of removal (i.e from a luggage case), but to also gives you the ability to hang them, if needed.Overall, I’m happy with these packing cubes. They offer high quality and they are extremely lightweight.These would be my first choice if weight was a concern. The fact that they are well-made is also a nice bonus since I won’t really have to worry about their durability.Not being able to see what’s inside the bags may be problematic, but if you know how to organize your gear, especially knowing that each packing cube is a slightly different size and shape, it shouldn’t be too bad.

The packing cubes have a big of a structure to it. The area where the zippers are is a more rigid material so isn’t floppy like other packing cubes I’ve tried.The zippers are smooth and easy to open and close. The various sizes make packing very organized.These packing cubes are the lightest I own and the compression is pretty useful to fit more items in a smaller bag.
