Simple, practical, matches my needs exactly
This laptop desk is EXACTLY what I was looking for to keep my 13 inch creator’s laptop stable on my lap and to allow proper cooling. My laptop’s processor generates considerable heat. Good, simple construction, with an effective no-skid pad for the laptopI liked especially the slide out out mouse tray which works witheither a left or right-handed mouse and is built with a slightly raised edge that keeps the mouse fr falling off. This edge could be just a bit higher, but it’s very effective as isNothing to plug in or set up. This laptop desk fits very easily into the laptop bag.

Portable Size, Great rubber pads, Okay mousepad.
[Build]This lap-pad is built sturdy. The quality feels nice especially around the rubber pads.[Size]Extremely portable. I was looking for something to bring along with my ultra book in a bag for train use, and this Lap-pad is extremely useful. For referecne, my ultrabook is 13.3 inches.I was also surprised that it managed to also fit my 16 inch bulky gaming laptops.[Mouse Pad]Perhaps the weakest link of this lap-pad was the mouse-pad. It slides out very easy, and its a great size, however its too smooth, so if your mouse doesn’t have rubber feet, it ends up sliding everywhere when you go to type something on your laptop. I wish it was made out of a less smooth material.[Conclusion]Overall, this lap-pad is built great, has a great size that fits up to 16 inch laptops, and is very lightweight. However, the biggest thing holding it back is the material used for the mousepad, despite this downside I would definitely still buy again.Update: I’ve modified the mousepad and added thin grip tape. This simple modification still allows the mousepad to slide out, but also keeps my mouse steady. This brings the product up to 5 stars. However. Im keeping it at 4 since I believe this should have been considered.

Quality and functionality
Perfect for anyone who takes computers into a home or other place to do charting. Perfect and Minimal
I purchased this lap desk in 2021 with my new Macbook Pro and it is currently 2025 and this desk is basically an extention of my Macbook. I don’t like using track pads so I love having the pull out mouse pad. You don’t even have to have it facing any specific direction because the pad will come out of either side (just not both which I originally thought; coffee and my mouse 😆 wishful thinking)I came back looking for another one because after all these years I finally stepped on it and cracked the bottom, it’s still fully functional I just don’t like always having to click it back in. I found it in my purchase history and decided I should write a review since it has served me so well over the years.I bought a carry bag in the larger size, 15 in, I think, and it fits perfectly with my computer and mouse.Hope this helps!!

Good overall, but…
This is not an especially big board, so keep that in mind if you have a larger laptop. It’s also surprisingly heavy for its size. Seems quite sturdy and durable, though. The reason why I didn’t rate it with more stars is because the mousing surface is too uniform for an optical mouse to function. You have to put a mouse pad on it, and that is a real annoyance. The one I have is small by mouse pad standards, and it still hangs over the sides. They easily could’ve textured the surface for a mouse, or given you an appropriately sized removable mouse pad. That said, I’m keeping it because it’s working well for my needs.

Playing games on my laptop really got it hot. I needed a pad without fans to cool off my legs. This works great. It is very light and my 15.7 inch laptop fits well. I can play easily without feeling the heat now. The slide out mouse pad seems a little flexible but you can switch to left or right and it might come in handy.
