Beautiful but keep in mind its wood
My 13 inch power strip was giving the most unsightly tangled mess in front of my TV and that’s when I knew it was time for me to do some serious cable management. Let me tell you, this was a long time coming, and I regret not purchasing this earlier. My living room finally looks CLEAN. So glad I made the switch!!Pros: Spacious, beautiful, minimal, and enough room to place my power strips and more! 👾The set comes with two sizes and a few self locking plastic cable ties.- Large box: Fits my 13 inch power strip with ~2 inches left over. Enough leftover room for me to store a few charging blocks/plugs next to my surge protector.- Small box (which measures around 12.6 inches): Big enough for the standard 9-10 inch power strips. However, I’ve been using it to hold the extras of my super long cables sitting in tandem to my larger box.Cons: The wooden cover is natural but a hit-or-miss 💔- The cover is made entirely of natural wood. Beautiful but its still wood. Wood susceptible to water. I made the mistake of placing it near my house plants that I water daily, and 6 months later, water splotches had formed all over the wooden cover of that box. Its subtle and not entirely noticeable from afar, but I recommend placing it in the driest area you can find if possible. (Unless you’re very careful)- I’m not sure if I got a faulty one, but one of my box covers came with an uneven corner cut. A manufacturing error maybe? 🥲 I got a splinter the first time I tried open the box. To remedy, I covered the corner with a little electrical tape to avoid any future hand accidents…. for a $37 wood and plastic box, I was expecting slightly better craftsmanship… Additionally, the uneven cut has created a small (though barely noticeable) gap between the long side of the cover and the plastic compartment. Very minor but does give the opportunity for a tiny bit of dust to blow into the box.Overall, I kept it because I love the beautiful aesthetic and its gets most of the job done.

Great for hiding tv& sound wires/cables – if you don’t want to saw your wall open to hide them. The black color blends right in with the tv and sits behind our sound bar. Looks much neater than when they were all over the sound bar. Openings are nice and wide for a number of cords. The top pops off too easily, but we just put a small heavy decoration on top that holds it on.

These boxes are a great concept, and they are handsome. However the plastic is a bit too flimsy and the wooden covers don’t sit securely onto the plastic boxes. Great idea but poor execution. I’m keeping them because they fit a real need but I very much wish they were a bit more sturdy.

Effective for hiding ugly cords!
I agree with the reviews that said they are not as sturdy as they could be, but they do the job! I have a desk area in my kitchen area that holds my pc and all my internet/cable stuff. I was cord heavy and it was ugly. These little boxes allowed me to hide most of the cords, and they are nice to look at. I would recommend them.

These are exactly what my desk needed, they are so sleek and really clean up my desk. I have tried other types of cable management but they never really fit the space. I will say the plastic box is a little flimsy so you will need to be gentle with them, don’t toss or throw them around. The smaller of the two already has a hairline crack in the opening but not enough to make me what to return it or make it unusable. It was my own doing I’m sure when I was moving it around. Love the wooden lid and doubles as a cute shelf for my pen holder or even a drink! The cord holders are a nice addition to complete the set! Overall good choice for this price point, if you are looking for something a bit stronger, you might want to keep looking. For me, I’ve set them up and they are staying put so I’m not worried about them going forward. Happy with my purchase!

This thing is awesome. I should have taken an before and after… it cleaned up my ‘cord corner’ perfectly. Gone is the anxiety every time I looked at it! Highly recommend it with a powerbar that fits inside. Cover isn’t super sturdy because it’s a thin wood but it works fine.
