Hoses discolor-toxic material?
I bought these as replacement bladders for hydration backpacks I bought for my kids. Ironically, the ones the backpacks came with were ALSO discolored and I was worried about using them. These bladders started off fine. No leaks, easy to use. We used them consecutively for about 4-5 days and then washed and dried them completely before storing. We just took them out about 8 months later and found the hoses completely discolored. Let me note, that we have 2 additional hydration packs with bladders that we washed and dried for the same amount of time that this did not happen to. You may think it looks like mold, but I strongly believe this has something to do with the plastic material the hose is made from, as pointed out by another reviewer. These seem toxic. Will never use again and do not recommend.

Left a strong chemical taste and smell after 2 hours of use
I bought this to take to Universal Studios with the family. I unfortunately waited until we got down to Florida to check it out because I had read the reviews about it has a hard time drying.Rinsed it out several times prior to use, it was leaking but we figured out how to get around it. Got to Universal Studios and within 2 hours the bag and water had taken on such a chemical smell and taste it reminded me of a urinal cake in a men’s room. Being convinced my family and I are being poisoned, we couldn’t take another sip from this poorly designed hose . Here we are at Universal Studios the water was leaking and tasted like urinal cake. So in the end we were trying to save money, and we spent so much more. Lucky for me I was still within the return window so I could return this piece of trash.

Great value, works well.
I got 2 of these hydration bladders to replace one that leaked. These were a great deal, so I was concerned about the quality. But they seem great so far. I’ve only used one so far, but it didn’t leak, was easy to fill, the screw top used to fill it works easily, and the 2L capacity is good. My only slight negative comment is that you have to pull out on the mouthpiece before biting and sucking to get the water to flow. Others I’ve used only required the biting and sucking. A very minor inconvenience, and worth the effort if it keeps it from leaking.

Used this for a marathon I did and it worked greatz very durable and the hose detaches for additional assistance.

Not bad. Cap doesn’t stay on well.
Not bad for the price. Seems durables and decent quality. However, it’s a bit hard to get water through the valve and the cap does stay on well.

Might come defective
One of the items came defective, it leaked. I was doing a big trip so didn’t have time to return it or exchange it. Thankfully one them worked. Other than that, product works as advertised.

Great sales easy to drink from big opening to pour water into. The mouthpiece works great.
I bought the 2 L for my Colorado vacation. I mixed up some liquid IV and water and it worked great. It has a really good seal and a big opening to pour liquid into. The mouthpiece works great and comes with a cap that covers it so it won’t leak. Would buy again.

Good for day hikes!
Great product!! didnt break on me yet or leak. The pipes are on tightly, and clicking it into the bag is easy. Warms up quickly on hikes though, and adds a funky taste to the water even though i cleaned it. But its easy to use on hikes, and fits well in my small bag.
