We absolutely love this beach tent! It’s lightweight, easy to set up, and provides excellent shade all day long. Great Beach Tent
Recently purchased this beach tent after looking at all the various offerings on Amazon. Chose this one as it was the highest rated one, and was one that also had 2 sandbag pouches per corner as opposed to the many that had only 1. The price was great too. Many were considerably more expensive, without any noticeable differences. Took it to the beach and was very impressed with the quality, and loved how quickly and easily it went up. Very sturdy with the extra sandbags. Pleasantly surprised to find that the pole sections were bungee’d together and fold up easily. Nice compact carry bag. Fairly windy day at the beach, and it did not move at all. Looking forward to using this for a long time.

Nice shade
We have no shade in our yard. I was looking for something to provide shade over a swing set for my grandchildren. Our daughter recommended this (her family has one for the beach)& it works great! Easy to put up & take down. I used large smooth rocks in the pockets. We will definitely use on our next trip to the beach too! Great product so far. I have only used it once though. I feel like it could be a little taller too. I really like that it packs into a small sturdy carrying case. I hope we will get a lot of good use out of this product.

Durable, versatile and does its job!
SUPER happy with this sunshade! We are vacationing in Hawaii so I ordered this and it arrived 2 days later! Comes in an awesome little carrying bag that can be used as a back pack! Very durable and super easy to set up!

Easy to put and take down.
Pros: incredibly easy to assemble. Fill 8 bags with sand then add poles. The fabric is strong enough to move the bags and make adjustments without emptying the sand.Cons: I wish the poles were longer, the tent sits roughly about 5 ft from the top of the sand since the poles have to be sunk into the sand. I’m in very soft sand.The poles started to bend on mine due to the weight of sand/canopy and the wind, but have not broken. I have used it on a gusty day and it survived as well.I also had this up when it started raining, and it is not water proof. The rain will find a low spot to leak through.Shade-wise, it’s great and my family enjoys it. Everything fits back in the bag without fighting it. It’s pretty compact and light weight – maybe 4 -5 pounds. We never really ‘need’ to stand under the canopy so sitting and laying down it is perfect.If there were longer and stronger poles available I’d buy them, but I might make my own.

Can’t wait till summer
We brought this along on our beach trip just in case we would need it. Luckily for us the beach was nice and sunny and this came in handy. Surprisingly it was a lot easier to setup than we thought it was going to be. We set this up right before lunch and it stayed up until we left, which was around dinner. Even with the breeze and then wind, this tent stayed up the whole time. While we didn’t have too much water to deal with, when the marine layer started coming in, the mist from that did get on the tent and we just watched it bead right off of this tent, so definitely mist/waterproof. The material itself is very light weight and does allow a nice flow of air to come through. While it did shade us from the sun, there was still some visibility underneath. The one thing I was afraid of was the sand tearing up the bagging area and it sticking to the material. Neither of these has happened. I also found that this works great at the park. While we have more beach trips planned this summer, not only can I not wait, but for now, its been working at the park and even in our backyard!

Heavy, flimsy
Material is heavy unlike a tent and although it is stretchy it will not withstand environmental elements. In order for the poles to support the material they have to be deep into the sand which then makes it non functional for anyone over 5 feet. Droops down in middle and poles begin to bend. Super frustrated with this item. Of course if you use it at the beach the sand gets everywhere and so sand in between where the poles connect will damage the integrity of the inside of the poles. I am sure I can not return it due to being used now. Waste of money.
