Great taste!
My son loves these packets! One in my residents family members uses this brand to keep his wife hydrated and highly recommended it. I only bought a few singles for him to try. The price was great, easy to use, kept him hydrated during his hot practice days. The color was great! This is a great brand.

Great flavor
I really like these hydration packs. They are easy to take with you and just pour into your water. The flavor is great, not too strong or salty like other hydration packs. And the big plus is clean ingredients.

This (blue raspberry) is my favorite from Ultima, but still not sure it’s worth the price
Overall, I like these, although I think they’re WAY overpriced, and the only flavor I’d be willing to pay the price tag for is the blue raspberry (and even then, I hesitate). The flavors are about the same strength as Propel flavor packets – stronger than the liquid flavors that you squirt from a bottle (which do almost nothing imo) but not as strong as some other powdered flavor packets like the ones from Skittles, Starburst, or Kool Aid (which take over the water bottle with candy flavor). All of the tart Ultima flavors – the raspberry, pink lemonade, lemonade, and passionfruit flavors – have an artificial taste to them. The artificial taste isn’t intolerable but it’s not exactly ideal either (particularly given the price tag), and I have a very high tolerance for artificial tastes after years of eating low-fat/ low-sugar versions of things.As for each individual flavor I’ve tried (in order of preference):Blue Raspberry – My favorite! It has a good blue raspberry taste similar to blue raspberry Jolly Ranchers or Starburst (though obviously it’s not as strong as the candies). It’s sweet with no artificial taste to it at all. And thankfully it doesn’t seem to leave my lips or teeth blue, so I can drink it at work. Love it.Grape – My second favorite. It’s easily the strongest of all the Ultima flavors and has a very true grape taste with no artificialness at all. Very similar to the Kool-Aid Grape single flavor packets, though the Kool Aid ones are stronger. If I liked grape more, this would be my favorite, but I don’t tend to reach for grape-flavored things. (Not to mention that I don’t see a reason to purchase this one over the Kool-Aid Grape singles, which also have electrolytes, are stronger, and are way cheaper.)Raspberry – It’s similar to blue raspberry but a little lighter in flavor, less sweet, and more tart. It also has the artificial taste I referenced, which is not present with the blue raspberry. But the raspberry flavor is sufficiently nice that it makes the artificialness tolerable. I might buy it again if blue raspberry weren’t available.Cherry Pomegranate – Not bad. Doesn’t taste artificial, but has a little bit of the medicinal cherry flavor. It’s very middle-of-the-road imo, but I’m not a huge fan of cherry flavored items unless they hit it out of the park (like the Skittles singles-to-go cherry packets for example). I’d drink this flavor if I received it for free but I probably wouldn’t buy it again.Lemonade – This definitely has a strong lemon flavor, and the lemon is strong enough to help cancel out some of the artificial taste. I don’t see a reason to pay the high price tag for this over other lemon flavor packets though – the Propel lemon powder has no artificial taste to it, and the True Lemon packets have no artificial taste and no artificial sweeteners. So I would drink this if I received it for free, but I wouldn’t buy it again.Pink Lemonade – Very light flavor. This is essentially a light version of the raspberry flavor with a hint of the lemon flavor. But because neither the raspberry nor the lemon is as strong, the artificial taste comes through more because there isn’t another flavor to help overpower it. Not awful but not something I would buy again, and I’d probably give it away even if I got it for free.Passionfruit – Very tart in an artificial, grapefruit-y way with an orange-y taste mixed in. Not good. It was all I could do to force myself to finish the water bottle with this in it – and I only forced myself because I didn’t want my money to go to waste given how expensive these packets are. Not only would I not buy it again, but I’m not even sure who I would give it to if I got it for free.Watermelon – Absolutely gross. I love watermelon-flavored candy generally, but this has a very strong chemical taste. (The chemical taste is different in kind from the artificial taste present with the tart flavors; it’s almost metallic.) I had purchased a jar of this powder because I was so sure I’d like it, but I threw the jar away rather than drinking it. Disgusting, even for a watermelon-lover who hastes the idea of throwing away expensive food items.

Great Taste!
I have been in search of an electrolyte packet to add to bottled water for my kids to use. I have tried EVERY brand and until this one I had no luck. This packet is perfect, low sugar, great taste and it has the vitamins and electrolytes we want! Our entire family agrees that these are the best packets! I highly recommend this for all ages!

Great replacement for Gatorade
It’s difficult to find electrolyte drinks that aren’t full of gunk. These do the trick. They don’t taste like the sugary lemonade or sweet Gatorade drinks we’re used to but they’re the perfect replacement as a healthier option.
