Our very lightweight Tuga sun hat is cool, comfortable, and breathable thanks to mesh vents on the side. The wide brim and legionnaire style back flap provide maximum sun protection to the face, ears, and neck. It has an easily adjustable tie strap at back to make it more comfortable. Chin strap is adjustable or removable. Packable and washable for easy care! Great for men, women and even kids. UPF vs SPF
Pretty much the same thing. UPF is a rating for clothing and indicates the level of sun protection. The higher the better! UPF 50+ blocks 98% of UV rays. It is also critical that the protection you choose blocks both UVA and UVB rays. Tuga Sunwear does and our fabrics are free of sunscreen chemicals!
SIZING
Measure head circumference with a soft measuring tape for best fit. Our adult hats are similar in size to an adult size medium hat with a circumference of 22.5″ inches.
