Truly The Only Piece of Luggage You Will Ever Need
Because of its durability, pliability, versatility, and careful design, I’m convinced this is the only piece of luggage you will ever need. The towlines are that it has a perfect size that can transform based on the various luggage racks you’ll encounter. So almost as big and almost as small as you could possibly want. If you add in their duffle bag thing (I think it’s called a Pente or something? I can’t remember the name right now), you end up with literally as small or as big as you could want for a single piece of luggage. It’s great as a carry on and its pockets are wonderful in that capacity, strong build, its zippers are wonderfully strong, and it transforms into multiple kinds of luggage. Sort of the Optimus Prime of luggage in that way.Toplines: I found it extremely versatile on a recent trip to Morristown NJ through multiple transit, hike, walk, and ride situations.Longer version:I added some books on the Byzantine empire because that’s what I was researching and writing on for this retreat. Here’s where the real test came for these. Recounting my journey is important because it’s going to show you why I think this is the only piece of luggage you’ll ever need. The first thing I had to do was make it down six flights of stairs in our Brooklyn walk up. So that was probably a hundred steps. On my back, I had the daypack, unzipped, and full of probably fifteen pounds of hardcover books, the pens were in the pen holders, I used the front pockets for chargers and snacks, highlighters, spare keys, etc. all in their right place in the organizers. MacBook Pro (top of the line) in the laptop pocket. It’s extremely heavy compared to other laptops. I had a water bottle in the water bottle pocket. Over all, if it was just that, the backpack was well timed, well balanced, its replacement of my old canvas, wax-coated WWI style backpack couldn’t have come sooner. I’m not inherently organized, so having things that help me to structure my life — Scrivener, for instance, for forming organic outlines — helps immensely. The other I had my CPAP wrapped around the telescopic trolly handle, which either is abnormally smooth for one of these or I simply have gone so long without new luggage that I can’t conceive of a world in which the handle would come in and out so smoothly and would work so flawlessly. The casters on the wheels spun elegantly, smooth. I used the top handle underneath the CPAP to carry it down.Four flights down, I then started wheeling it over various eras of Brooklyn sidewalk a half mile to the subway. That was more or less a straight forward walk, though it involved a decent amount of dodging street traffic. It seemed up to the task on that front. It navigated cleanly through the turnstiles.Down another 21 steps, and across the platform to wait for the subway. It came in time, over the gap, and seated for a 40 minute ride to 34th St Herald Square. The only problem I found in this time is that the wheels were so smooth, I really had to reach for my luggage when we took off from the station. I got it all handled, considered attaching my backpack via the front zips for more weight. Didn’t.At Penn, I took a crowded elevator up and it was rather unobtrusive in that environment. Some of the smoothest pavement in the city borders Herald Square and Macy’s, so that was incredibly quick. Then to Madison Square Garden, an escalator down, and the New Jersey Transit line. I had to rush here, even though I needed the restroom, because my train was leaving the station and the next one wouldn’t come for an hour. So the queue line was tight, what with the ropes and the lack of space, but the luggage ducked and turned and spun with grace.I got my ticket, the station master encouraged me to hurry and I sprinted with the thing down the ramp to track 2, where I had to hoof it without falling down another thirty steps. I don’t know if I would have kept from falling on my face without the balance of both the backpack and the spinner.Onto the train, I then caught a nearby seat and needed to ensure the spinner could fit in the tight luggage rack up top. It could and had room to spare. I considered connecting my backpack to the front of the expandable spinner, but then remembered my work, so I left it unconnected and wrote and studied my Byzantine history for the hour train ride. Another three steps down, again remarkably light and balanced, a the low platform station, two elevators (that smelled of piss) and up to the gorgeous station of Morristown, where I told the attendant the elevator needed cleaning. Badly. It smelled like the inside of a port-a-john. The wheels, thankfully, avoided all of that and kept the bag clean, high, and dry.By now I was tired of carrying the heavy laden backpack, so I zipped it to the front of the spinner. I would recommend following their recommendation to not attach more than 5 lbs to the front if you’re doing it this way without the counter balance of the other bag on the back. I should have paid more attention to that, but it really was okay. I got to the Turkish restaurant downtown in Morristown (which is, objectively, the best Turkish restaurant I’ve ever eaten at that wasn’t the now-closed Kofta Piyaz, the guy who wrote the book “Vegetarian Turkish Cuisine”). In any case, the restaurant was a tight squeeze and the bag was a bit big for the space they had, so I simply unzipped my backpack and could fit both bags comfortably. The attendants were rather impressed with this.I ate and found still more room in my bags for my leftovers, went next door for baklava and added it to the load, and found my hands free enough to get distilled water for my CPAP. I then hoofed it another 1.3 mile walk from there downhill on various types of sidewalk, over grass, through a mulched hiking trail, again with a more dirt trail, back onto an untended road, and then straight uphill on fresh asphalt where a young white tail buck greeted me as if in reward for my labors. Into the retreat center and up another three flights of stairs, the dang thing unpacked like a Chinese folding house, a whole world tucked neatly inside. There were my packing cubes immediately in my drawers and toiletries in the bathroom, my desk arranged and ordered ready for writing. At the end of the week, my bride came with the weekender daypack, filled with her medical supplies and her own toiletries and clothes for the evening. She joined me for the end of my retreat. Then, in the morning, we quickly loaded everything up, zipped up both bags to the spinner and left together with ONE SINGLE PIECE OF LUGGAGE.I’m convinced after all of that, the backpack — especially in combination with the other pack — would work exceedingly well on a hiking trip, sleeping bag tucked underneath.I’ll report back in a few days with a video to show you guys how it all connects.Basically you can:– Wear the Double Pack (or one of its components) by itself.– Wear the Double Pack and also use the Spinner.– Use all three units zipped together.– Use just the front unit with the Expandable Spinner.– Use just the rear unit with the Expandable Spinner.– Use just the front backpack– Use just the rear backpack– Use just the spinnerI’m telling you, it’s a remarkable piece of luggage.

Pretty good bag just has some balance issues
It’s a pretty cool bag. It has great potential. The only problems I really had with it is if you only attach either the front bag or the rear bag by themselves to the main body then the bag wants to tip over when freestanding. If you attach both front and back bags at the same time then it balances it good and does not tip. I wish the wheelbase was wider to keep the bag from wanting to tip when only one of the bags is installed. Other than that I did like the bag has a lot of compartments and functionality. I just wish I wouldn’t fall over so easily.

    Looks efficient, dependable, smart design
I haven’t left for my overseas trip yet & I will update this review if I’m disappointed. From what I can tell at this point, this 3 piece set is a very clever design, indeed. I’m super thankful for this as I have only about 90 min at Heathrow to make it from terminal 2 to 5 , which will require a 20 minute train trip, among other intra- airport travel in London. I’m entering Europe for a stay that’s over 2 weeks & with that brief layover i don’t want to check anything. British Airways has lost my luggage once & I don’t feel like going through that again. Plus, I don’t have time to wait for bags at LHR. It appears that these bags zip together & apart efficiently/ quickly when necessary, no skimping on zippers, closures , pockets, straps, no nonsense. Excellent. I look forward to sensible, dependable performance from this set.

    Versatile, stable , smart design
I’m really impressed with this suitcase! The materials feel solid and built to last. It has a smart design and doesn’t tip or fall over when packed correctly, which is a huge plus. What truly stands out is the versatility. I love that you can use all three units together or separately. For example, I can easily unzip the front pack and carry it on the flight while the spinner stays in the overhead bin (such a thoughtful feature!) The detachable front bag and spacious main compartment give me flexible options depending on the length and purpose of my trip. I also love how much space it offers and how easy it is to organize with all the well-thought-out compartments. This setup is perfect for everything from quick business trips to longer vacations with kids. Overall, a very well-designed, functional, and stylish bag!

    Highly Satisfied
I received this 3 in 1 luggage August 28,2025. It was shipped on time, and packaged well. I have used it several times. I am loving how much space it has and the fact that I can remove sections and use them individually. I am not as organized when traveling as I would like, therefore I end up tossing a bit of everything into this set. My hopes are to be able to pack neatly and have everything organized so that I am not unpacking the entire luggage to find 1 thing. Overall the set is durable and it wheels great. Yes, even through carpeted areas. I only wish they had more color options. I have used it as a carry-on, removing one section as I wasn’t sure if it would be too large for carry-on standers. I have also checked the bag, and it held up fantastically.NOTE: I also bought a carry-on Samsonite. That luggage was way smaller than I was thinking. Not nearly the space nor as easy to maneuver through hotel carpeted areas as my Onli Travel Trilogy.

    Bulky, falls over, terrible.
The worst. Seems like a great idea. Until you try to have any pieces attached to the small suitcase. It is poorly balanced, the bag falls over constantly, is hard to push even with only one side attached. Even if you dont attach any pieces to the luggage, and only expand the suitcase, the weird design makes the top expand which makes it top heavy and the suitcase keeps falling over. Save yourself a ton of money and forget this one. If you combined 2 detachable pieces together, the “backpack” is ginormous and bulky. Basically in order for it to work you canno expand any of the pieces at all which makes the whole idea of getting this pointless. I very much regret buying this and now cannot even return it.

Good concept but not useful (for me) with duplicate compartments across the individual bags.

Only used one of the attached back pack yet. It is comfortable to carry and very spacious. I will be using the whole suitcase soon to go on holiday
