Difficult to use, difficult to shut and reopen – good umbrella
Wanted a shorter and smaller canopy low cost umbrella and this umbrella is good for my needs, it will work for my upcoming trip. It appears to have a strong support shaft and upgraded springs and stronger enhanced metal ribs, but also the metal tips are exposed and possibly have less attachment thread than needed – it would be easy to repair if the threads broke loose. It seems like an upgraded and inexpensive umbrella.It’s not automatic shut, it’s click to collapse.The umbrella has to be fully clicked shut (using both hands) to engage the re-opening mechanism to get it to reopen again. If the umbrella is already open (in the rain) and the button on the handle is accidentally bumped, the umbrella collapses automatically, and both hands (and strength) are used to get the wet umbrella to shut all the way before it can re-open again. Design is easily accidentally triggered to collapse in the rain The case was made of fleece terry cloth and washed up nice and is big enough to easily use for the umbrella. Unpackaged with no odor, but the umbrella and case were rinsed to remove the invisible manufacturing dust.

Durable, Compact and Effective
I bought this umbrella to help keep me cool this Summer. I have been using it for about a week; and I will update my review in the future about its durability (so far, it feels very well made). The UV material helps block the sun completely, and the button is well made and very effective. The unlocking mechanism is a bit strong, and the umbrella SHOOTS open when you open it, so be careful of this if you have small children.This umbrella is also compact, so I can easily keep it in my backpack while I’m walking, or I can hang the loop on my wrist.This umbrella has a beautiful, unique design and it is fun and playful to carry; I like this because I’m an artist and it fits me perfectly.I absolutely will not leave the house without this umbrella (I also have another large golf umbrella that I use exclusively for when it’s raining).

Good Umbrella!
Very good umbrella, very plain looking, as it is just a black umbrella, but it did last me a lot, as it is still going strong almost 3 years later, and it is also water resistant and offers protection against the sun, but it did not stand against heavy winds, as it turned around very quickly with heavy Japanese winds from my travels, but on the good side it did not break from that! If you want a good umbrella this is your umbrella, as it is small, and compact and it fits well in a bag with a carabiner. What i will let you know is that the bag that it comes in is a little bit flimsy, so the knots might come undone, and that sometimes the umbrella is hard to put in the bag, especially when you’re rushing, but those would be my only complaints with this one!

Feeling fed up with umbrellas breaking in gusts of wind whilst I was on the school run and standing waiting around trying not to get drenched, I went for this one as it felt like I was throwing money away. I can confirm it’s worth the cost, it has not broke and has withstood Storm Claudia today. I like it’s not too big like a golf size, how easy it is to open how light it is. Folds up neatly and comes in a little soft bag. What more could you want.
