Good Safety Item
I originally got this for situations where I can’t carry pepper spray such as sporting events, concerts, traveling, etc. I now carry it along with my pepper spray and when I’m going somewhere I just leave the birdie on my keys and take the spray off. This is easy to use and I like that it is rechargeable and I can use the alarm as a flashlight. People can say what they want about noise makers, but sound is a very effective deterrent. If you use this you haven’t hurt anyone or used force, and if you make a mistake, nobody is hurt. Safe to have around kids and feels like a key fob. While I haven’t had to use it on a person, I can vouch for its effectiveness on loose dogs.

My only wish is that the torch light would stay on without having to keep pressing the button, as it would make seeing your surroundings easier. I carry this when running alone. Charge lasts a long time. Secures nicely to belt or running vest. My daughter had one gifted to her when she went off to college. A little extra peace of mind is a good thing.

I absolutely love this personal alarm. I’ve had it for about 3 months now, and it’s amazing! I never leave the house without it. I take it shopping. You never know about parking lots, and I always have it when I’m out walking my dogs. This thing holds a charge for days, and the light on it is very handy at night, whether you’re trying to avoid tripping or picking up dog poop. I love it! Another little tip: I like to clip it onto my bra strap. That way, it’s out and ready with me all the time, whether I’m in a public restroom or in the parking lot.

Bought as a gift for a health care worker who has some late shifts and works in a rather sketchy part of the city. To get to her parking area she needs to walk through an underground tunnel where there have been several assaults in the last few months so thought this would be a gift that would be appreciated. The alarm on this is nice and loud and the flashing lights are bright. I would think that this device would draw attention rather quickly but I also hope it never has to be tested out in an undesirable situation. Light weight and easy to attach to keys, a belt loop or a lanyard. Great value and works really well!!

I keep this She’s Birdie personal safety alarm with me when I walk downtown coming home from work, and it really gives me an extra sense of security. The alarm is extremely loud — much louder than I expected for such a small device.It’s lightweight, easy to carry, and simple to activate if needed. I haven’t had to use it in an emergency, but knowing it’s there makes me feel a lot safer when walking alone.
