Ain’t no sun gettin past this thing 👌
Highly effective! My window faces south so it gets peak daylight. It is literally a night and day difference with this shade applied. I blocked the top half of the window and the bottom is unblocked (so my cats can still window watch 😅 .. ignore their stuff in the photo.. lol)It is completely opaque and there would be zero daylight if I wanted to block the bottom too.Whether you work nightshift and need to sleep during the day or you’re a vampire avoiding the sun, this product will do the trick 😉

Good light block, but needs more sticky pads
I ordered this for a spare bedroom that my sister is sleeping in. We both struggle with sleeping when the sun’s up, so I figured this could help.After cutting it to size, it went up surprisingly well. Though the sticky pads stick well to the window frame, the fact that they allow a gap in between the walls and the window lets some amount of light in, which is why I rated it 4 stars. Other than that, the room is way darker than before and it seems to hold up well. I like the fact that you can take off the curtain as it’s only Velcroed to the wall, so you can let light in whenever you want.Time will tell if it starts peeling off the wall or if the sticky pads fail, but as of yet a solid 4/5. If it were just able to not allow a slight gap where the sticky pads aren’t, it would easily be 5 out of 5, though I don’t know how logistically easy that would be to produce.I also do wish it came with more sticky pads, as we got a larger (4 foot by 3 foot) window and I expected to be able to sticky the whole edge of the frame. But as the window block only came with a out 20 (in long) strips, this wasn’t feasible.Good price nonetheless. But I do wish it came with more sticky pads.

Excellent product. Does the job
I did a lot of research before I ordered a blackout curtain. This is a rental house. I did not want to drill into wall. I did not want anything made from toxic materials that off gassed and had a chemical odor. I watched an excellent video put up by a satisfied customer. I ordered. It was easy to install and does the job perfectly and looks tidy. There are mini blinds on the window. I put the Nighton product on the wood frame over the mini blinds. You cannot tell it is there from the outside of the house. I also liked the fact that it was portable. Plus, customer service is excellent. I needed some more velcro stickers. They were quick to respond and sent more free of charge. Although not the least expensive on the market, it is reasonably priced and very good value. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for blocking out unwanted light neatly and safely.

Excellent Portable Blackout Curtain
These blackout curtains work perfectly! They block out almost all light and are easy to put up and take down. Great for travel or temporary setups. The material feels durable, and they fold up compactly for storage. Very happy with this purchase!

Good. but could be better
This product does what is advertised once it is all set up. That being said, the product is very very thin which i found to tear easily if you are not careful. It does dark out the window to a great degree so it is very functional. I would have preferred a thicker product though. A good clean look and the black color helps it seem darker inside the room. All in all a proper product for the cost.

Perfect for Shift Workers
These were delivered at night so I could only do the flashlight test on them when I hung them and I was nervous because it failed it. However, when the sun came up, they worked exactly the way they’re advertised. They blocked everything. My only tweak is that instead of using the Velcro they came with which left a gap between the curtains and my wall and let light through, I taped them around the wall. Not pretty, but I work nights and have to sleep during the day. I value darkness over looks always. They’re hidden behind my curtains and it beats stuffing throw blankets over my curtain rods.
