Quality car sunshade
I have a 2013 Honda Accord and the Motor Trend sunshade fits ok in my car. My last shade finally became too floppy to stay up in the windshield after over 7 years of use between two cars. I’d have bought that brand again if I could remember what brand it was. In any case, the Motor Trend sunshade came closest to what I was looking for and in the size I needed.The sunshade is a bit long for my Accord so it doesn’t sit completely flat under the windshield. That doesn’t bother me as the coverage is good and it only makes installing the shade slightly more difficult. It is shorter than the windshield but that helps in getting it under the rear view mirror and into place. It rests nicely on the top of the dash and the car’s sun visors hold it in place well.The shade is a bit stiff at first, but I suspect it will start bending in places over time. Also, my last sunshade was similar in build and after 5 years, the silver material started flaking. I don’t know if this one will do that or not.There is a nice cloth (nylon?) strap with velcro that keeps the sunshade together when folded. I like it better than the elastic bands on some brands. However, I wish it was a buckle like on the Dickies brand that you’d see at Wal-Mart instead of velcro.Obviously, I use a sunshade every summer and I think it helps keep my car cooler. I’m sure it helps protect the interior, too, but that isn’t really a concern I have. I think Motor Trends’ sunshade is well-built and should last as many years as my last one did.

Measure your windshield
If you like an accordion fold style sun shade, then you will probably like this. My husband chose this one and he chose the one that said would fit his Ford F250, but it is a little short, making it a bit of a challenge to get the shade to stay up. Additionally, because it is a bit short it doesn’t cover all of the windshield, leaving about a 2 inch gap on either side. So the important thing here is to be sure and measure your windshield and not rely solely on the sizing chart for the right fit for your vehicle. (I chose the twist and fold 2 piece style of sun shade for my Jeep Renegade and the fit is perfect)For this review there was a star category for “suction” which I declined to rate since there were no suction cups included, nor were any mentioned in the product description. As for warmth, I think it probably does help reduce heat a bit on a normal sunny day, but in all reality, once temps hit 85-90 and above, hot is hot, and unless you have sunshades on all of your vehicle’s windows, it’s not going to make that big a difference.Overall, if you like this style of sunshade, then you will like this product. It is made well and has velcro straps to keep it together and will definitely do what it is designed to do. Just be sure and measure your windshield so you get the right fit.

A little too large for my car, but well built
I own a car. Not a crossover. Not an SUV. A Car. As wildly unpopular as that is with politicians and accessory manufacturers I like my car. As a sun shade purchaser, car owners have two choices: something that’s close to fitting but made out of tissue paper, or something made well but will only fit an 18 wheeler. I ordered 5-6 different shades off Amazon and bought several at Target, Walmart, and various auto parts stores before I found this one.This is the closest I found to a happy medium. It is well built. It can be made to fit my windshield by leaving a couple of the panels folded. If one side were actually silver that would be better, because a black sun shade collects as much heat as the black car using it. It is what it is, but at least I was able to find something that will work. It wasn’t easy.

Excelente producto. Tarda en llegar pero al final no te arrepientes de la compra. Los materiales son muy buenos, es compacto pero de gran tamaño. Yo lo encontré con el motor de búsqueda y me aparecía que le quedaba a mi vehículo y aunque al momento de la compra dudaba, al ponerlo se ajustó a la perfección. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

El producto cumple, el color mate es genial pero la medida es mas pequeña de la que se describe. La medida real es de 58″ x 24″. El producto es usado para una RAV4, en cuanto a lo ancho queda muy bien y sobra, pero en cuanto a lo alto se queda justo para ser sostenido por las viseras. Le doy 4 estrellas por que su precio es bastante alto y realmente no se siente de gran calidad, solo tiene el color mate como algo interesante, además de que es más pequeño (en altura) que el promedio de parasoles.
