Great in concept, fragile in practice
I purchased one of these to place on the downtube bottle cage on my gravel bike. I’d heard of how reliable the Fidlock mechanism is, and expected it to be a better solution than a bottle cage tool holder. I was initially extremely happy with the product, and agree that the Fidlock mechanism is excellent. It never so much as slipped over hundreds of miles, including a fair amount of MTB trails.But after about two months usage, I went to zip it up after cleaning it, and the zipper was completely blown. I submitted a warranty claim, got a replacement, and was on my way. For two weeks. And then the second one failed. The zipper on this product is simply NOT robust. Any dirt or grit gets in there, and it’ll explode. I might be able to get the zipper cleaned out and reconditioned with a lot of time and elbow grease, but I’d be dead in the water if this happened on the trail.Might be OK for a road bike or commuter, but completely unusable for gravel/MTB. I won’t bother submitting a warranty claim on the second one, and will just go back to using an old bottle with tools in it. At least I know that won’t break on me at the first opportunity. But hey, at least I was able to remove the Fidlock mechanism from the ruined cases. Might be able to use those to build my own tool storage solution that still magnets on!

Faulty zipper
Fidlock has always been my go-to for cycling bottles, bags, or mounts. I recently purchased a tool capsule and I was met with disappointment. The zipper proved to be a faulty zipper or a flaw in the design. I recently completed a tour (TDLP) in CA and the capsule did not hold up the zipper gave out causing a parade of flying cycling tools throughout the hillside @ 6 thousand feet of elevation. I’m hoping Fidlock could warranty the capsule and send me a replacement. I love the clean look and functionality of the fidlock products. I will add pictures of my setup down below.

Fidlock quality is terrible
I am done with all Fidlock products. They don’t offer an insulated bottle and their magnets break and chip. This overpriced hunk of garbage had the zipper fail after very little use. Avoid at all costs.

Geht sehr wohl in einem Fully Rahmen,man muss halt nur den Anschluss in der Tasche um 180 Grad drehen (Verschraubung lösen ) ist eventuell nicht der Sinn der Sache aber hält was sie verspricht und das System ist wirklich gut . Der Stauraum ist ausreichend. Tolles Produkt 👍🏻
