Easy to clean and travels well!
I purchased this Chicco to replace one of the Summer Infant Deluxe Folding Booster Seats that recently broke, and my experience with this seat by comparison is that I LOVE this one so much more. We initially purchased the folding boosters to use when we travel to grandparents houses or on vacations and but also ended up using them at home as our regular high chairs too since they save space by being attached to an existing chair at the table.Pros:- SO easy to clean! This seat doesn’t have and little nooks and crannies for food to get stuck in (MUCH easier than the Summer Infant seat), so a simple wipe down and this thing is clean. Many times the SI seat required being detached from the seat and hosed down. When I did that (probably not as often as I should), I was disgusted at all the food that was hidden in hard-to-see and reach spots.-easy to fold up! With the click of a button, the legs are folded and the seat folds down. It gets quite compact. You could easily take it to a relative’s house, a restaurant or on vacation.- 4 height adjustments. It can be used with th legs completely folded underneath or with the legs in one of three positions to make the seat higher.-clips onto any chair easily. (I have also used a portable chair that attached to tables and hated it. It never worked with any of the tables we needed to attach it with.) This booster clips quickly, easily and effortlessly to any chair, which is important if you are traveling with it and have a squirmy toddler waiting to sit.Cons:-the seat is not quite as deep as the Summer Infant seat, so if you have a baby that is just learning to sit up unassisted, this seat isn’t going to provide a lot of extra support in holding baby up. Not an issue once baby can sit well unassisted.- the tray is kind of hard to clip when you first get it. It does seem to get easier though! But I had to stop clipping the tray in when the baby isn’t sitting in it since it was tricky to get unlatched with one hand to put her in.- a bit heavier than the Summer Infant seat (but also it seems a lot more heavy duty, so that’s probably a good thing!)Overall, since this is so easy to clean, which is something I deal with multiple times a day, I am very happy with this chair! Would recommend to friends!

Perfect for travel and future booster
First off, yes, this thing is pretty small. My 8 month old looks huge in it compared to his normal highchair (he’s in the 99% for height though and in 18 month clothes).BUT, this think is perfect for travel and will make an awesome booster seat when he’s older. I send this with him when other people babysit him for the day, and last night we stuck this on the chair because it was closer (his highchair was in the living room). We did not extend the legs, so the seat was pretty low to the ground (which our dogs benefited from). The try is definitely a lot smaller than his normal highchair tray we’re used to, but it did the job just fine. We were able to spread finger foods on it and let him go to town (however, it did make it easier for him to knock all of it onto the ground for the dogs).I was worried about the little horn piece at the bottom of the tray, but it was fine (maybe if your baby has super chunky thighs it would be a problem). This fold up flat and has a carrying strap, so it’s easy to throw in the car when we go places. All in all, happy with the purchase.

I like it, good overall
UPDATE:Chicco logo still hasn’t smudged. Overall we are enjoying this chair. It is very versatile as far as all the different types of chairs it works on and that has been great. I do wish the safety straps were more useful, and the legs can be difficult to collapse as well as the tray can be challenging to deal with. Still, at this price, I am pretty happy and would still recommend this chair.Original review:I’m not entirely sure that I received a new item or if this damage (pictured) was the result of production- everything else other than the foot pads seemed brand new and in order.I agree with many of the reviewers:- the tray is not easy to put on and take off. That being said, I haven’t met a chair that really shines in this regard. I don’t find it exceptionally difficult. Just not easy.- the safety straps are not doing much. At this point I don’t need them to, but I may end up needing to find a five-point harness.I did see the review that said it was easy to tip, but I tried to tip the chair while my child was in it and it didn’t tilt any. In any case, we will continue to use it in a supervised setting and it’s nice to be aware of that possibility.I put a piece of clear tape to protect the chicco logo from smearing everywhere, but before I did that, I did rub it to see what would happen, and nothing smudged or came off. I’m hoping for the best here.On that note, the sticker on the seat came off just fine except in the areas where it had gotten wet, so just try to remove the sticker before you use the chair at all.Overall it seems simple enough to use and easy to travel with- compact and light. I like that it is going to be easy to clean, too.

Would recommend, build quality and durable

It’s well built and light. Only complaint is that it’s a bit hard to close the legs.
