Some adult cats may not go for it….
The overall concept is innovative. However, not all adult cats will be ok confined to such a small space. My baby boy Storm felt trapped, trying to find his way out. I, myself, am claustrophobic and he probably felt the same way. I let him out when I realized the backpack feature was not going to work for him. It may be ok if you begin use when they are kittens and can become acclimated. The zippers work fine. It can serve as a regular carrier when expanded. There is an opening to the expansion itself so it makes it easier for the cat or very small dog to walk in from behind. However, I have found it easier to put him in by unzipping the bubble. Using the expansion entrance is tricky because while you’re trying to zipper it shut, he’s trying to get out! I will be using this as an extra carrier for car trips so he can see out. Also, it helps to have an extra carrier while traveling in case he gets sick and throws up or does the other thing. I am giving it 5 stars because it is well-made, as roomy as his regular carrier, he can stand up and lay down comfortably, room for a small food dish. Just because the backpack feature did not work for my cat, it may work fine for others….it depends on the pet.

Sturdy and Good Quality
Good quality and very structured. I was a bit unsure at first since my cat is on the larger side, but it works great with no sagging at all. I love how it has the bubble for him to look around, rather than the traditional mesh screens in his regular carrier, and the front pocket to store his stuff. Overall, it feels secure and sturdy, great for casual use.

Works great for my chickens
I’m not a cat person. I bought this for my chickens so that I can enjoy them inside for short periods or carry them to the vet. This has plenty of space. I bought a different one at the same time and it just did not have as much space. This one could hold two small chickens or even my rooster. Seems very sturdy and lots of ventilation.

Let it air out for several hours.
Fair quality. Upon setting it up, my cats preferred the box it came in over the actual backpack. However, with catnip and treats, one quickly acclimated to it (I also destroyed the box so there was no further competition.) The factory smell is strong, as expected, so I recommend letting it air out for 24hrs or so. My small dog also fits in it, and is very confused.

This carrier is super cool. Plenty of room for my 6lb. cat, and the bubble enables your pet to see what’s going on around him/her. Plus, it looks like a space age invention! Being a backpack is a great help, too. Love it!

Cheap price, cheap quality.
Pretty cool backpack but it started ripping at the straps after barely a year. Very cheap quality unfortunately but for the price it’s difficult to be any harsher. It just works exactly as you’d expect a cheap Chinese backpack to work. However, chances are this is exactly what you’ll be buying at 2x price from PetSmart or Petco.

The bag is sturdy, can carry my adult cat easily. Looks stylish and also functional. You can carry your cat’s essentials like treats or meds. Value for money. My cat seems to love it. Spacious for my 6-7 year old adult cat, she can easily stan, sit or sleep in the bag. Ventilation is good. Side mesh for ventilation with a chain. Overall good experience.
