With Steel tubing, this kit definitely is heavier than most of my pack chairs. But, for stability least amount of flex, this chair is a winner. This style of pack/camping chair has become very popular. I have at least 5 of them myself, each one different than the other. The one thing you become accustomed to with these types of chairs is the feeling of instability and lots of flex. But, not with this chair! The frame locks one of the poles with a button, which I find a little cumbersome, but it’s not one that flexes much at all. It flexes a little still, but compared to all my other chair, very stiff. It’s comfortable, sits pretty low to the ground and quite leaned back. Very comfy lounging chair.It’s heavier and a bit larger than some of my ultralight chairs, but not bad. For ultralight backpacking/campers, you’ll probably want something lighter. For the rest of us doing short hikes, beach runs, car camping, it’s a great solid choice!

Small and comfortable
I’ve been looking at lightweight camp chairs for months! There are so many, and it’s hard to know how they differ. We’re going on a camping trip this summer and have limited weight to carry. The item weight is stated as 3.34 lbs. It’s slightly heavier than what I was looking for, but it’s worth it for the price. The more lightweight the chair, the higher the price. We put it together easily and it’s pretty comfortable. I’m not sure if I’d bother bringing the storage bag along on the trip – it’s probably a few ounces. This is a short chair – so be aware of that. My husband is around 240, and he find it comfortable as well. We may need to get another. I’ll be sure to post updates if there are any.

Broke on the first try. Not good quality at all. It worked fine on solid ground inside the house but not durable at all when being used outdoors. The base broke on first use (130lb female) on slightly uneven dry dusty kind of terrain (not even sand). The chair itself isn’t very comfortable either for taller people because it essentially feels like unnaturally squatting

Solid build quality. Takes a few minutes to put together, a bit longer packing it back up. But with practice things pickup. This chair is noticeably heavier than similar chairs, but that’s not a bad thing, since this means the fittings are fabric is likely stronger. This chair isn’t for ultralight backpackers, it’s probably more for camping, or having a seat while waiting in a long line up (that’s how I plan to use it). The fabric looks easy to repair if there is a tear. The pieces are held together by a flexible cord, not sure how long that will last. All-in-all, a good purchase.

This compact folding chair is very easy to set up and pack up and no instructions are required (though it comes with instructions). It’s very compact but is slightly heavier than similar chairs. However the extra weight is because this chair is much sturdier and more stable than similar ones. Once it’s set up it doesn’t wobble or lean at all. Not only is the frame very sturdy and tough but the fabric is too. I’ve used a lot of similar chairs and this one is easily the most stable, meaning it’ll be great for larger people. It’s also very comfortable.The side pocket is big enough for items like phones but can also hold a canned or bottled beverage. The case is strong, with a good zipper and handles, and it’s easy to fit the folded chair back into it.I really recommend bringing a chair like this camping or to any outdoor activity. It makes a huge difference and isn’t a burden at all. It can easily fit into a hand bag or backpack.

Good portable camping chair in general . It is easy to assemble but not the easiest when it comes to attach the fabric part cause it becomes so stretched . Stable and sturdy and can stand weight . Easy to fold and once done , it is packed in a very compact carrying bag that never takes space at all . The bag comes with a handle to be carried around easily. The chair has a pocket for phone which is great . I think it is a smart design to have such compact portable option but it takes little more work to fold and unfold than the usual portable chair ever one is used to

Setup is straightforward. The frame comes pre-connected with bungees, so you basically just unfold it, align the poles, and push down until everything clicks into place. Attaching the fabric seat is simple too—it slips onto the top of each pole. The first two corners are super easy; the back ones require a bit more effort, but no tools are needed, and it takes less than a minute.One thing I really appreciate is how compact it gets once folded. It fits into a slim carry bag that’s just over 14 inches long and hardly takes up any space in my trunk or strapped to my backpack. I’ve taken it to the park for picnics and even on a quiet fishing trip by the lake. It’s nice to have a dedicated seat that doesn’t feel like a hassle to bring along.The chair feels stable once you’re sitting—the wide base and quadrilateral frame do a good job distributing weight. The fabric offers lower back and hip support, and the breathable mesh on the sides helps especially on warmer days. There’s also a small pocket on the side where I keep my phone or keys, which is a handy touch.That said, it’s not perfect. On a windy day at the lake, I noticed the chair can tip over pretty easily if no one’s sitting in it.
