    Light, compact camp chair
This chair packs small and feels easy to carry on hikes and beach trips, and the quick drawstring setup lets me get it ready in under a minute. The wider seat and mesh sides keep me fairly comfortable, but the small size and open back give limited support on longer sits. The aluminum frame and 600D waterproof fabric feel sturdy, and the 330 lb rating inspires confidence, though the ultralight build makes the chair a bit wobbly on uneven ground. Functionally, it works best as a casual camp or concert seat, not an all-day lounger. The simple black design looks clean, but there are no armrests or extra padding. At about $41 bucks, the price feels a bit high for a basic lightweight chair with minimal features. Overall, I like the portability and strength but wish it offered more support and comfort for the cost.

Impressively designed packable and comfortable chair
I really like this chair, it has some really nice design features. Assembly is easy -though no instructions came with my chair but don’t be discouraged by the spaghetti like collection of poles -really just go one pole at a time (you can’t really insert a pole into the wrong place) and it’s straight forward. What is nice though (unlike another similar chair I own) is the inclusion of finger straps to help you insert each pole into the seat material pocket. A very nice touch. There’s also a nice little side pocket on the right as you sit, capable of holding a wallet or can or bottle. As the carrying bag has loops, you can attach the bag to the front or back of the chair (see photos) which is nice to store the bag so it doesn’t get lost as well as to keep items in while you are using the chair. Again, very nice. But the biggest question is how is the comfort? Really nice, much more comfortable than the collapsible umbrella like chairs, and similar comfort to a folding chair. Some people may even prefer this chair to a traditional folding chair. I’m about 220lbs and it seems very sturdy to me, so no problems there. So what don’t I like? The carrying bag only half zips open which makes for repacking just a tad more difficult (first world problems). This does however make it easier to use if you use the bag as storage when attached to the assembled chair. It would be nice if there was an included strap for shoulder carry, but there are plenty of attachment points to use an old strap or a piece of rope. This also isn’t a chair for a sandy beach either, though you can use some old tennis balls on the feet to help you with that.Dimensions packed are about 14x6x5 inches -small enough to go in a backpack. The weight is 2.85lbs/1295g (this is with a set of scales that have been pretty accurate). Perhaps not a chair to take backpacking, but a very nice to have in the car or in the backpack for shorter walks or day hikes if you are willing to pay the weight penalty. The chair assembled is 21.5 inches wide at its widest point and 32 inches high.In summary I was impressed with the design, comfort and convenience. Value is good as well. Recommended.

Suspiciously small for a surprisingly functional chair
When this arrived, I stared at the package like, “Surely this isn’t the chair. This is a misunderstanding. Perhaps a chair coupon?” But no — inside that suspiciously small package was, in fact, a chair. Kind of. A chair in spirit. A chair that folds up to just slightly larger than a loaf of sandwich bread and only slightly heavier. When we opened it, my husband and I exchanged the universal look of, “Did we just buy adult Tinker Toys?” This is not your average “unfold and sit” camping chair. No, this one requires audience participation. The poles snap together like tent rods (very satisfying), the seat stretches over them, and suddenly — against all odds — it becomes an actual chair. A real, weight-bearing, “look Ma, no splinters” chair. It’s low. Like “you’d better have knee mobility and a plan for getting up again” low. My 200-lb husband sat comfortably, but let’s just say if gravity has a personal vendetta against you, this might be more of an art installation than a seat. That said, it’s brilliant for hiking, fishing, hunting blinds — any scenario where you’ve earned the right to sit somewhere that isn’t a rock after hauling gear to a remote location. I plan to use it for gold panning on our creek, because squatting in cold water is a young person’s game. This keeps me just above the silt line like a civilized prospector, but still low enough to show the kiddos how it’s done.Compact, sturdy, and suspiciously clever. 10/10. Would buy again, even if the box made me question reality the first time. This is the “extra weight is a liability but I don’t want to sit on cold, hard ground when I get there” chair — not the “I’m going to take a nap by the fire pit” chair.

Awesome design for a lightweight small portable chair
This is a great little chair! It packs up super small – just under 15″ long in the case. It’s easy to put together and breakdown – about a minute or so. I usually dock a star for not having instructions, but I don’t think you can set it up incorrectly. It packs up easily and fits back in the case without much effort.Let’s be clear, this isn’t going to compete with your big quad folding camping chair in comfort. It sits low to the ground at about 18″ at the front and is about 21″ wide. I find that really impressive in this small and lightweight of a package. I find the chair’s comfortable, but don’t love sitting as low as it does. I’m happy to make the trade off for the portability. We are often hauling a bunch of gear to kids sporting events, so the chair often required another trip to the car or we just didn’t bring it. This is easy to grab and can even be clipped to something.
