Exceptional Craftsmanship and Design – A True Full-Grain Leather Bag That’s Built to Last
This is a bag built for use, not just display. The full-grain leather feels dense, textured, and authentic with real hide that will develop a natural patina instead of cracking or peeling. The stitching is precise and slightly wide-spaced, preserving strength, and the YKK zippers glide smoothly. The main pocket hardware placement even doubles as a quiet anti-theft feature since the main zipper faces your body.Inside, everything is fully lined and thoughtfully laid out. The padded divider fits a 13″ laptop, and a hidden pocket with magnetic button closure sits flat against your back for quick access to travel items. The bag keeps its structure even when packed. I was able to fit a thick 75% compact keyboard and 11″ tablet in a bulky case without bulging seams or visibly distorting the appearance as viewed from the outside. It was actually difficult to tell anything bulky was in it at all as the leather has some level of rigidity.The canvas straps are a smart design choice. Canvas is lighter, stronger, and far more resilient than leather as a strap material, especially in warm or humid weather where sweat may become an issue. I found that the carry balance is excellent, and the appearance transitions easily from office to travel use. I didn’t have any issues with comfort, and as most modern devices in the 13″ and under range tend to be incredibly light anyhow, this doesn’t seem like it would be an issue for continuous all-day wear.For the price it rivals more established brands for materials and build quality. A quick conditioning with a mink oil or similar leather lotion brings out even more depth in the anthracite finish. I personally didn’t run into any issues with darkening of the body or accents, but it’s always good practice to test on a smaller, less visible area first.In short: refined utility, premium materials, and craftsmanship you can actually see. A practical, beautifully made piece that feels built to last.

Beautifully packaged, overall good quality
This little backpack arrived so wonderfully packaged. It’s in a box, and then has nice tissue paper, and then a drawstring storage bag, and then the bag itself. The quality of the leather seems luxe and lovely, and the fit-and-finish of the hardware (zippers, straps, snaps) seems solid. I did notice a kind of dirt / smudging around the logo, which was sort of icky and disappointing. I guess it must have been part of the manufacturing process, to get the logo into the leather. It mostly wiped off with a damp cloth and a little elbow grease.The bag itself is sleek and minimal, sufficient for a laptop and charger, and a few other necessities. It’s good for a jaunt to a coffee shop or to campus, but not what you’d want necessarily as a carry-on for a flight, as there’s not space for much beyond the basics (phone, keys, wallet, maybe a book in addition to the laptop and charger). It looks cool and hip, in an understated way.The organization of the pockets is okay, although I’m not a huge fan of that front sideways pocket. The design looks good, but the functionality is not my favorite.Whatever the case, this is a really professional and cool looking backpack for the essentials.

Exceptional Quality, But Quality Control Misses The Mark…
This Full Grain Genuine Leather Slim Backpack for my wife to carry her 13″ tablet and while the craftsmanship is otherwise exceptional, a few quality control issues prevent it from earning a perfect rating—especially at the asking price.The Good (Exceptional Quality) Premium Materials: The full-grain leather is truly rich and supple, giving the bag a luxurious feel.Sturdy Hardware: The hefty zippers glide effortlessly, feeling robust and high-quality without any snagging.Precise Stitching: The overall stitching across the bag is precise and looks built to last.The Flaws (Quality Control Issues) Uncomfortable Straps: The canvas shoulder straps feel strong, but they severely lack padding. For a bag of this quality, the straps should have been padded for comfort.Loose Threads: On the back side of the bag, there were multiple loose threads hanging that should have been snipped. My wife should not have to perform final finishing work on a premium product.Final Verdict: The quality team appears to have missed the mark by not inspecting each piece before shipping. While this is an exceptionally well-made piece, the loose threads demonstrate a failure in final quality inspection, which impacts customer satisfaction.At the current price of $195, the presence of these flaws is unacceptable. I would suggest a price point closer to $105 to reflect the need for minor customer-required finishing and the lack of padded straps. Fix the quality control and this would easily be a five-star item.
