Great versatility
We bought this for our 2 month old with the idea that it will grow with him. I really like the versatility it offers for carrying him different ways. It’s very easy to use and to put on/off yourself, although I have not tried him on my back as he is still too small. It does feel very secure, but there is no support for his head while he is gaining his strength. There is ample padding and my back and shoulders really don’t hurt when I’m carrying him-he’s currently 16lbs. The mesh is definitely helpful in the summer heat but it isn’t quite as soft against his skin, especially where his legs rub. I do love the sun shield, it’s very convenient . Overall we are very happy with the carrier and its quality and would definitely recommend.

I purchased twice, that’s how good it is.
This is the second one that I’ve purchased. The first one I got was in 2019. My son was almost 10 lbs at birth so I was on a mission to find a carrier that would stay with us as long as I needed to carry him. This carries up to 45 lbs – standard size.Fits small and tall babies.Pictured is my baby koala bear. This review is really on his behalf, he LOVES being in the carrier. He loves to be carried and this allows us to carry him around the house and still be hands free. We do have the wrap but koala is solid and heavy. This feels much more secure than the moby, which is great for newborn to a couple months, but our babies are generally heavier and taller than other babies. This one is much more breathable and the mesh helps if you have a sweaty baby. Koala baby does sweat so this is great for him.I carried my older son in my first one until he was about 4, and I carried him mostly on my back for the last year using that carrier. Usually for hiking or when we knew we’d be somewhere that either required a lot of walking or if there were hazards and it was best to carry him. I gave Tula#1 to my sister after I had no use for us and it’s well loved by her and her boys. It’s easy and quick to put on (of course once you’ve properly adjusted it to fit baby), and I always have it with me.Worth every penny, and our go-to carrier, the one I’d recommend for every parent.

MUST HAVE for a Velcro baby
I tried many carriers for my Velcro baby. I bought this carrier while trying others because it was pretty, while hoping I didn’t like it because of the price. This carrier beat them all. I have the Olivia model which is mesh. The mesh is great for the hot summer months in Florida. It’s breathable and light. It’s also not scratchy like some other carrier fabrics. It’s super easy to snap on and is so comfortable. I wear this many hours a day and it gives me zero back pain. The lumbar support is amazing. It comes with a hood to shade the baby from the sun. A pouch big enough for your wallet and phone. The straps are super padded. The adjustable part for the hips snaps in place to hold it so you aren’t adjusting it every time you put it on. I mean it’s really thought out well. This is definitely an investment piece but honestly it’s more portable than a stroller and if you have a baby that has to be held and/or contact nap and want to have some semblance of a life this is a necessity.

Best Baby Carrier
Tula makes the best baby carriers. I’ve tried ALL of the big brand carriers. The versatility, ease of design, and comfort of this carries makes it hands down, the very best option. If you’re like me, I’ve purchased all of the “cheap” ones hoping it would do enough. But sometimes it really is better to pay the extra to get the best. This is one of those times. You will not regret this purchase. It is so soft, so lightweight, so versatile, and you just have two clips (which are both very reachable). I love this baby carrier. Buy it, you won’t regret it.

Almost perfect!
After trying many carriers, I think I’m settling on the Tula Explore. I love the simplicity of the carrier, the part baby is actually in. There’s no bulky parts to adjust and baby feels pretty flush against my body, like she does in a baby wrap. We both like that. She seems pretty comfortable once settled into it. The weight, so far (she’s about 12 lbs), is distributed mostly on my hips. This is great because my back was killing me with other carriers. The weight distribution is the main reason I’m choosing this one over others. The fabric is also softer then the Lillebaby Airflow, though not as soft as I would like. I really like the cushion around baby’s legs too, which seemed to be either missing or too bulky in other carriers. Now here’s why it’s not perfect, even though I think it’s the one I’ll keep… The shoulder straps are thick, but not too thick, however the adjustable connection doesn’t go as high up as I need. At the highest point, I can barely reach it (I’m 5’4″ and never thought I had short arms). I have to slide it all the way down and connect in my middle back where I can reach it. This is fine but leaves the shoulder straps on the edges of my shoulders, not close to my neck. The only reason I’m okay with this is because none of the weight seems to be on my shoulders. We’ll see how this works as she gets heavier and the carrier is more worn in. Another negative is the infant head support pillow. You have to tuck it in and tuck the flaps into little pockets inside ther carrier. The problem is that there isn’t anything to snap the flaps in place. I just decided to untuck the pillow and use it in the short position snapped to the outside. However, if you truly have a tiny infant, like the 7lbs they say this carrier fits, this could be a problem. Lastly, I wish the hood was attached and tucked into a pocket like a lot of other carriers. I’m fairly certain I’m going to lose one day.All in all, I’d say this carrier is almost perfect. Even the things I would change are either specific to me, narrow shoulders and apparently short arms, or things I can work around.

Tula is the real deal.
LOVE LOVE LOVE. Tula, what can I say you have my heart. I love the simplistic design, this brand seems to hold all my babies in the perfect position without me feeling like they’re too low or not cozy. The support is perfect I don’t have to hold baby at all and it’s just so functional, I clip the waist band then grab baby boy snap the top shoulder clip and I’m on my way.

This baby carrier is a must have! It is really well made and is sturdy. Very comfortable for me and for my baby. I can keep baby next to me and still have free hands to do other tasks. It is easy to adjust as well to your requirements. I think this is brilliant baby carrier.

As a first-time mum who still loves putting together an outfit (even if it’s just leggings and a cute knit these days!), I was looking for a baby carrier that wouldn’t clash with my style — and this absolutely delivers.First of all, the designs are gorgeous. The neutral, minimal pattern that looks beautiful with most of my wardrobe but still feels gender-neutral enough that my partner’s happy to wear it too. Win-win!Functionally, it’s been brilliant. You can use it from birth, which was one of the big selling points for me. It’s incredibly supportive for both me and baby — I’ve worn it on hour-long dog walks and felt totally comfortable. I was a bit nervous about putting it on solo, but after watching a quick video online (honestly clearer than the included instructions), I had it down in no time. It’s genuinely easy to take on and off by yourself, which is a huge help when juggling baby and a to-do list.If I had to be super picky, I’d say the little pocket could be slightly bigger — just enough to hold my phone and keys more easily — but that’s honestly the tiniest of gripes.Overall, I love it. It’s made getting out and about feel so much easier, and I still feel like me while wearing it. Highly recommend to any mum who wants both function and fashion from their carrier!
