FAQ

Q: Why does my power bank only show 13,400mAh?

A: The actual capacity of this power bank is 26,800mAh at an output voltage of 3.6V. The labeled capacity of 13,400mAh at 7.2V is just another way to express the same energy output. There is no discrepancy, so don’t worry.

Q:Why is charging slow?

A:The input and output specifications of the customer’s cables do not match those of the power bank, causing slower charging speeds when the power bank charges other devices.

The Anker Advantage: Join the 50 million+ powered by our leading technology.
Charge 3 Devices at Once: 3 USB output ports (no A-C cables included) together with Anker’s PowerIQ and Voltage Boost technology ensure charging for three devices simultaneously (not compatible with Qualcomm Quick Charge).

Recharge 2X Faster: Dual Micro USB (20W) input offers recharge speeds up to twice as fast as standard portable chargers—a full recharge takes just over 6 hours while using both input ports (wall charger not included).
What you get: Power core 26800, 2X Micro USB cable, welcome guide, our worry-free 18-month and friendly customer service. Usb-c cable and Lightning cable for iPhone/ iPad sold separately. Input: 5V ⎓ 4A (5V ⎓ 2A Max Per Port) Output: 5V ⎓ 6A (5V ⎓ 3A Max Per Port)

    Great Power Bank!
So far it’s great. Long life and works just like sated. It is a bit heavy but ability to charge 3 devices at once, fast recharge and amount of time between recharge is well worth it! Still haven’t recharged and I charge 3 device 4-5 times a week from this power bank.

Seems like an essential piece of equipment to have
Updated review: Upgrading to five stars after an obviously new replacement item arrived extremely quickly, in a day or two. I think the thing itself is great. It does charge slowly, as many have noted, but seems to hold its charge very well once charged up. (To charge it, I used both cables and left it overnight.) I plugged my phone into it during a drive of 2.5 hours and found once I reached my destination that my phone was charged up to some extent, though not all the way; but again, others have pointed out that this battery will not charge a phone (or whatever) as fast as a wall socket will.It did what I wanted it to, which was make sure I wouldn’t find myself in the middle of nowhere with a dead phone, and at the end of the trip, the battery still had four lights lit.(One curious note: My sister bought this same battery–same brand, same 26,800–some time ago and hers is noticeably smaller than mine. You’d think they’d be getting smaller rather than bigger, but maybe it’s about preserving the price point or something. So mine is rather large, but not problematically so.)Original one-star review: Paid for a new one, received a used one. The tape that would have been sealing the box closed had already been slit open, and the item itself was scuffed.

    A mighty charging power bank
I love my new power bank! Oh I do! It’s sleek, smooth, naturally portable, durable, reliable and I am enjoying a freedom from hunting for outlets at the airport, at a large conference gathering, or needing to adapt to less-than-comfortable wall outlets in a hotel room simply because my 10′ charging cable is still too short to reach my laptop. While at the home front, I can go camping or hiking knowing I will not run out of power for six months between charges!! That’s incredible!! I’ve seen the comments on how long it takes to charge the power bank and I admit, I did hesitate to buy it, but I’m so glad I went through with it! When I received my new Anker power core, the instructions clearly stated to use attach both charging cables that came with the Anker power core, into a multi-connection wall charger. The power bank came with almost a 50% charge capacity and that was pretty pleasing to me already. I decided to see how long it took to reach each cell level (there are 4 indicator lights that blink until that cell “fills up” before moving on to the next flashing indicator light.) To move from 25% to 50% took 20 minutes. To move from 50% to 75% took 3hrs, and to move from 75% to 100% took 3.5hrs, totaling 6hrs 50min. In other words, or charged up overnight and this charge will last 6 months. Would you wait 8 hours to charge your Anker power core on two charging cables twice a year? 😏 Right! I would too! I also love the light carrying pouch that comes with the power bank. It’s smooth curves make it easy to carry and won’t harm your bag or even your hands with sharp boxy edges. It’s a great joy to me to have this kind of charging freedom. I can even charge my phone and laptop at the same time! Or charge my tablet and laptop. If I was to play devil’s advocate, I would first have to see how the power bank performs with different cables, if it can charge my laptop faster, for instance. If this product gets upgraded to include a fast charging port or even 3 ports I’ll be buying that one as well. This is a great product.

The best option out there for extended off-plug use
This is a quality product made by Anker. I have used their cables for years and purchased this bank in Jan. 2019. I have used it daily and it is awesome! A couple of things about this that make it a cut above all of the other banks I have. 1) Dual charging. I didn’t think that this was much of a feature but it is one of the best things about this bank. I can drain the charge down to nothing, plug it in overnight (both charging cables connected) and it is fully charged. 2) Huge capacity. This bank can support 3 devices simultaneously and not only hold the charge in them but actually charge them up to 100%. This will take some time but if you monitor it you can see the the charge percentage climbing. One proviso I would offer: They provide two shorter micro USB charging cables. Use them. The micro USB tips on the cables are just a little bit longer than the standard ones and this makes all the difference when charging. I used a Samsung Galaxy 8 charging cable and it inserted fine but it didn’t augment the charging speed. I went back to the supplied cables and the bank was fast charging again. It has 4 LEDs to indicate the charge status, when you get down below 1 LED it will start blinking to let you know that you’re almost out of power. I have used a lot of different banks from different manufacturers and this one is by far the most consistent and reliable. Because of the capacity, this bank does weigh a bit more than some of the others but that just means there are more batteries built into it. I’m ordering another one in white for my wife. Great product!!

I purchased an older model of this power bank from Anker about 8 years ago. It still works great with as new battery life still. My girlfriend keeps stealing it from me hence I purchased this model for myself. I like how you can use two chargers to charge it up in half the time compared to the older model that only has one charging point. This product was built to last.
