My favorite type of sun-shade and I’ve tried a few
I’ve tried many types of sun-shades: accordion that attaches to driver and passenger sides and connects in the middle, the expanding-circle type, the folding bubble type, and many others. This one does the trick!It takes getting used to, but you open it 3/4 of the way, then you place it on your windshield. Next you expand it all of the way until you hear/feel the “click” of the shade just like you would with an umbrella. The middle “pole” conveniently bends out of the way. Remove by pressing the button to collapse just like you would an umbrella. Easy.Not only is it easy to use, it functions perfectly as a sun-shade to block out the brightest sunlight even in the Arizona sun during the summer. It covers the entire window of my BMW X3 and my Hyundai Tucson, keeping them both cool. The size is a little big in the X3 and just right in the Tucson. When closed and rolled up, the Velcro keeps it tightly together for storage.All in all, it’s a good value for the money so far, but time will tell if it can take a beating from the Arizona sun.

Amazing!
What surprised me was that this umbrella was really double-layered! After years of using flimsy, single-layer sunshades that barely made a difference, this double-layered windshield cover is a revelation! The extra-thick fabric (noticeably heavier than standard shades) combined with UPF 80+ protection keeps my car incredibly cool—even on scorching 100°F days. I love that the sturdy frame is sandwiched between the two layers, making it sleek and seamless—no more awkward metal ribs poking out!What really sold me was the perfect fit. The adjustable spring edges create a tight seal around my windshield, leaving no gaps for sunlight to sneak through. Unlike other shades that curl or shift, this one stays put all day. Installation takes seconds—just unfold it, press it against the glass, and let the springs do the rest. When I’m done, it folds down neatly into a compact circle that fits right in my glove compartment.The difference in temperature is unbelievable. My steering wheel and seats no longer burn my hands, and the dashboard stays cool to the touch. Plus, the high-quality material doesn’t fade or tear. If you want a sunshade that actually works (and looks great doing it), this is the one!

High quality, but too big for BMW i4
This is a very well-made sunshade, definitely much better quality than most I’ve seen. The material feels thick and durable, and it blocks heat and light effectively. However, there are a few drawbacks:1. It’s too big for my 2025 BMW i4 eDrive40 and doesn’t fit the windshield properly.2. The thick construction makes it bulky and harder to fold up and store.3. It had a strong plastic odor out of the package, which was unpleasant in the car (maybe that clears out in time though)If it fits your car and you don’t mind the smell, it may be a great buy. For me, though, mainly the compatibility with my car, and bulkiness made it impractical.

Difficult to Strap Closed After Use
This windshield cover does keep the car much cooler than the traditional 2 piece flat sunshades. The mechanism is a little tricky to lock out – the stick you pull down to open it has to be in the right position to lock it open. The thing I really do not like at all about this sunshield is that once you close it, it’s a wrestling match to wrap the strap around it to Velcro it closed for storage- forget putting it back in the storage bag. At least it fits in my door pocket.

Amazing sunshade
This is an exceptional windshield sunshade. It’s easy to install and easy to fold like using an umbrella. It fits perfectly in my 2019 Nissan Maxima. The protection is amazing no doubt about it. You can’t beat this for the price.

Does NOT fit a 2020 Honda Odyssey!!!!
Information states this size will fit my 2020 Honda Odyssey, however it is nowhere near the size it needs to be. Very disappointing because I really wanted to love it. Does actually seem very sturdy and thick. Would definitely fit a smaller vehicle but not an Odyssey. Would love any suggestions on the best one to get for my vehicle.

Durable material, good quality
This seemed like a very nice product. It seems super durable and efficient. Super sad that I had to return it because it was not the right size for my truck, but I am actually ordering a new one right after this! Good quality for sure.
