Ordered for a trip to Europe. Works, in that it fits European sockets and I’m confident that it would work in any of the other locations for which it was designed. I down graded by one star due to the fact that this does not convert voltage, and that was not clearly noted on the outside packaging. However, in all fairness they did state this in the last section of the instruction sheet inside the box. For those who are not aware, European outlet voltage is 220 volts AC (US voltage is 110-115 volts AC), so plugging in a device not rated to take up to 220 volts could result in damage to the device. So, before using either have a voltage converter to plug into it, or assure that your device/appliance can handle the higher 220 volt line current.

Recent trip to Europe from the US. Germany, Romania and France. These adapters worked perfectly. They fit great in my Carry-on baggage and hardly added any extra weight.

Nice, compact travel adapter
This is an excellent quality universal power adapter. The utility of this device is extremely nice, because you have basically one adapter for wherever you are in the world.Keep in mind that this travel adapter does not change the voltage of the receptacle that you are plugged into. For instance, here in the US standard voltage is 110-120v and foremost places in Europe it’s 230-240v.The compact design makes it easily packable, and I really like the spring loaded unlock/lock feature which keeps things tidy. After unlocking the desired prongs for the receptacle you’ll be plugging into make sure to slide the unlock/lock selector back into the lock position, as the prongs are all spring loaded and can be pressed back into the device if you’re not careful while plugging in.It does state “surge protector” on the device, but I was unable to locate a joule rating. Despite this oversight, it is still a five-star device at this price point in my opinion.
