Great door alarm for side doors I have blocked off or rooms I don’t want anyone in without permission. Very loud sound.

Not sure what’s upgraded. Looks very similar to the door lock I owned over a decade back. Maybe the door stopper is the one with the upgrades since I didn’t own one beforeDoor lock is red, not black as advertised.Very useful when sleeping in a shady area, unfamiliar place or situation. Helped me out in the past when at a hotel where a kid would run down the hallway pulling out ‘Do not Disturb’ door knob signs. Also used for an apartment room I rented in the past with no door locks . A co-worker mentioned she used it when she was younger when her housemates would have night parties and she needed to sleep with earmuff on to block out loud music, and needed security when sleeping in case someone breaks in.Door lock is easy to setup with or without instructions. For the latter, it can take some time (like a easy puzzle). Detaching is quick in case you need to get out of room due to a fire or window break intruder.Only works for doors that open inwards (doors that pull to open towards you)Door stop alarm works well. Makes a high pitch sound (higher intensity than smoke detector) when door pressure is applied.Uses 9V battery similar to most smoke alarms. GOOD IDEA, BUT IT DOESN’T WORK ON ALL DOORS.
We took this product in our one week trip. We choose it because it was small enough to take on the carry-on luggage.The alarm door stopper couldn’t be used. it doesn’t work with all doors. The lock part worked for us. Not sure how long it will last, but it worked for this one week. Hopefully the alarm will work on future doors. Since it doesn’t work well on all doors, I don’t feel confident that I have the extra protection I am looking for. You find out only when you arrive at your destination. At this price I would not return it, but I wouldn’t buy it again.

This product is amazing. The alarm cán be very loud . You have diffrent levels of sensitivity. If u put in high, door stop alarm will go on if just pushed left or right. You dont need to put under the door. Amazing. Moreover, you can use it as a stoper and alarm. The door wiĺl not open, i try that even on a carpet. 10/10 useful product

**EDIT**The High setting does work, just not in the same way, it doesn’t activate upon pressing the trigger lever, but by moving the whole unit, it has another sensor inside it seems to detect any sudden movement or vibration of the device. Pretty neat if the gap under the door is too tight and you can’t jammed it in. However, it will activate simply by touching it when you try to turn it off.One star restored.Quality control could be better, 1 out of 3 has a noticeably lower sound, 2 out of 3 have a battery door that’s harder to open, somewhat jammed, needed to pry it open with a flat screen driver. The High sensitivity doesn’t work for all 3, no alarm sound which doesn’t make sense and the instructions say nothing of it.Overall it’s not worth the 23 CAD price tag because of these issues.

Excellent little things under doors. Loud noise if someone opens door. Setting are a little off – but I managed to get it working. Need to leave loudness on M & just turn it on or off as needed. Good idea for travel – but would work in any door.
