Sun protection
Sun protection! This saved me during my trip to Rome. Because of some reviews about possible smell, I aired it out opened up in the garage a couple days. Never smelled anything so not even sure it smelled in the beginning. Love the wood handle and seems well made. I even closed it the wrong way once (forgetting to press the button first) but it didn’t break. Never burned during the trip and nice not to have to apply sunscreen all the time. Very happy with it.

Attractive parasol
This G4Free Windproof Travel Umbrella is reasonably lightweight and very pretty (Silver/Sky). The wooden handle is attractive and comfortable to hold. You can open the umbrella easily with one hand using the button on the handle. The same button partially retracts the umbrella, then you must use two hands to fully close it. Although I’ve owned it for only a few weeks, this umbrella seems sturdy and well made. It’s not wobbly like some umbrellas. I’ve used it as sun protection not under rainy or windy conditions, as yet, and it is sufficient to protect just me from the sun. (I’m 5’3″ tall.) Contrary to the seller’s description which states that the umbrella has a canopy that provides “ample coverage to shield 2 people from the rain and sun, allowing you to share the shade with your friend,” this umbrella could only provide shade for 2 people if both were the size of 5-7-year-old children. Yes, it is a travel umbrella, but the seller’s description is slightly misleading about the size. Other than that, I have no complaints. Also, I appreciate the fact that this item has three sustainability features. (See seller’s description for details.)

This umbrella is perfect for me I got the small and is very lightweight’s for me love the uv protection it’s also a plus cause I have sensitive skin and I’ve been using it several times and it’s very easy to store it in my purse I highly recommend it great protection from the sun and heat from Florida.

Stopped working on second use
I love the pattern and style, but this umbrella broke the second time I used it. The top slider fell down and some while nylon cord came out (broken?) and the top no longer hold open. Too bad, I looked hard for the cloud pattern and bamboo handle, but ultimately poor poor quality.

GREAT for blocking the sun.
Wish I knew about this years ago. The UV layer does a great job of blocking the ferocious sun rays down here in Florida where it’s over 100f for months on end. Move it from over your head for a moment and feel the huge difference it makes!My dogs are happy now they’re getting daily walks again. And the inside print of sun & clouds is really pretty.
